Billy hit him with so many shots off the ground. also attempted more submissions. he was the fighter on a mission. Spike just tried to put on a show.

Fuk Billy didn't even sweat. I guess Spike's record speak for itself as last 3 fights were over in the 1st. Not a distance winner, tries to get it done early with full energy. Less than 5 minute fights now a 15min dance, that got him.

exactly. its a good strategy to avoid controversial decisions from judges but also puts you in a vulnerable spot against persistent competitors like Billy. if you would have asked me before the fight I would of said Spike gets round 1 then Billy wins 2 & 3.

maybe. I think there was only one dominant round and that was round 3. Spike is high energy and many will award rounds based solely on that but if we are talking efficiency then that was Billy's fight.

No need. Just like they can "let em play" in NBA or it was "bang bang" in NFL, this sport has the ever so classic spin of "you never want to put it in the hands of the judges."

Even the fighters consider it a given...they never want to get to them and say as much.
