In theory - if the following solution were proposed - how would America vote?

Scenario:

Declare Marshall law for 3 weeks. Mobilize National Guard/Military

Allow 7 days to stock up with groceries/stores

All businesses/stock markets/commodities/travel/ jobs of any kind - shut down. Only essential work force is medical/hospital/nursing homes/workers have to stay there

Medical expert analysis in theory - Corona would die out in three weeks and 80,000 lives would be saved. After the 3 weeks - international travel of any kind banned. International commerce of any kind stopped after the three weeks indefinitely.

You see the idea? Of 100,000 votes - How many yes? How many no?

The problem is, San Francisco bay area shut down early. Cuomo shut down New York way too late. He's responsible for 1/3 of the deaths in this country. Thats on his hands. Then after shut down, he sat there crying about not having ventilators.

It's true they did wait too long. They waited until the feds got their act together, which was a mistake. I think that's also because it hit west coast earlier and they realized they had a problem before others. And they took a lot of heat in CA for doing that early. I guess shutdowns do help.
