Bet a fifa2020 game thinking it was an esports league of some sort. Later i find out the game was setup directly by nitro its a cpu vs cpu matchup where we dont see the pregame settings they chose, adjustment of player ratings, difficulty setting, style of play etc. Basically they can set it up where they can name the score themselves depending on the score they need and they've had multiple fifa games like this with fairly high limits. Had i known this before betting it i obviously would not have bet it as i thought it was an esports league.
How is a sportsbook allowed to do this? Its a clear conflict of interest and like i stated before they can change settings, style of play as well as player ratings pregame. They can simply fix the score for what they need. I have lost money betting alot of random stuff from darts to amateur soccer leagues but nothing has bothered me as much as this where its an outright scam run by the book where they can name the score of the game themselves pregame.
