Did Tom Brady Choose Tampa To Help Pad His Stats In Record Book? ❓

There's no doubt in my mind both Brady & Brees are aware of where they stand in the NFL record books and that they are neck neck.

Could it be that one of the reasons TB12 chose the Bucs is because he sees an opportunity in Tampa with 2 Pro Bowl wide receivers and a passing attack that saw Jameis Winston throw for over 5,000 yards last season, to add to his numbers in competition with Brees?

That looks like a very healthy lead. Don't think Brady can catch him unless Brees gets hurt

Playing with two All-pro receivers likely had an impact on his decision. But I don't think career numbers were heavily weighed in his decision.

All-Pro receivers helped the decision but he has rings, records and a smoking hot wife...

Plus Florida is tax friendly so more $ in his pocket...

The market for Tom Brady was very shallow. Not a lot of teams interested in revamping their offense to suit a 43 year old immobile quarterback no matter what he has accomplished recently. The stats won’t matter when he misses a few regular season games and misses the playoffs every year. The backup better be good or the bucs will get them number 1 pick again in a few years. It’s going to be fun for Tom to throw for a gazillion yards while trailing in garbage time and getting sacked unconsciously.

I think it's more Brady vs Belichek than Brees. Brady wants to prove he's a great QB in another system and he found some top WR's to show it. Belichek wants to prove his system is what made Brady but I think Pats are in for a long season this year.

So sad Arians has one of the top TE in the league but mostly uses them to block. Maybe that will change with Brady

Whatever the passing yard and touch down numbers are, they will always be far less significant that the conference championships and Super Bowl championships. Those are the only stats he cares about adding to.

Winston's passing yard stats last year only looked impressive because he put his team in the hole with his turnovers and had to play catch up.

Brady won't have to worry about that.

Think that happened 3 years ago. He can’t throw outdoors and his deep ball is like a girl throw.

Perriman a FA. Thought they would sign D Lewis as pass catching rb but NYG inexplicably signed him.
