Steelers much better TEAM without Brownbell especacially Brown!!!!!

    Ben rejuvenated after Brown's departure........
I am too as this is the 1st year I've been watching the entire preseason...

I've also been grading player's and team's performance as a whole...

They need to find a way to keep Skipper.....

Rudolph is QB #2 in my book.....

JU JU's maturity level is of a 30 year old man and his selfless level is a 10\10..

Brown's maturity level is of a 14 year old boy and his "selfish" level is a 10\10..
("can't use Brown's name and selfless level in the same sentence")

Steelers are stacked @ the WR position.......

Biggest improvement easily goes to Washington as he lost 16lbs and
his new speed will rival Brown's........

Ben's new toy Moncrief is faster than Brown........

I like what I saw so far with rookie Johnson as well.....

We all know TE McDonald can run most over like a Tri Axle
however I do not like what I seen so far with his catching
    ability....

Connor had a great year last year scoring a total of 13 TD's
    and he missed 3 games!!

While Bell only scored a total of 10 TD's in 16 games in 2017!!

    Bell who?
Good luck in New York waiting for a hole to open
up as you'll be leveled behind the line of scrimmage constantly...
Steelers O'line made you look better than you truly are,period......

Steelers D with it's new version of a QB 1st round Bush...

I would say they did a 180 but it wouldn't describe them very well..

They completely changed their scheme to groundbreaking safety/LB
    combo with breakneck speed.......

The D's improvement is 100% as they will be an absolute nightmare
to offenses this year once they're broken in........

As a whole, I expect greatness on both sides of the ball
as long as they stay healthy they WILL be the team to beat....

So the best 2 teams in the "NFL" are from the AFC who are
none other than Pittsburgh and New England............

If Pittsburgh beats NE in Foxborough (for the 1st time I'll add)
and manages to stay healthy throughout regular&post season
and Boswell doesn't miss field goals left and right, you'll be
    looking @ Superbowl LIV champions........

    Yes, they are that good.......

Even if they lose on opening day breaking in their new D look,
they're still gonna be that good........

They are good but stacked division. Lamarville was 6-1 last year as starter and has more weapons now.

The wr Corp is excellent. Steelers always been the best when it comes to drafting and developing wrs. Hell Brown was a late round pick himself wasn’t he??

Disagree w the thinking they better off without bell, Conner is no bell running the ball and no where close to him when it comes to the passing game. Not a bad back, just no way you can convince me they wouldn’t be better w Bell.

Steelers are far and away the best at finding and developing wrs. Not bad at finding linebackers either, but they seem to have a uncanny ability to find gems at wr. Washington looks like another stud.

Typically teams that lose 1 All Star... not to mention 2 All Stars... usually fade out quickly in the NFL. Can't recall any team losing 2 All Star players.... and making the playoffs the following year. Pitt could very well do that

It’s called drafting well. Doesn’t much matter when they lose a wr cause they always have another. I think they def gonna be in playoffs.

Steeler defense has been their achilles especially at secondary. Not sure if they completely fixed that side but Devin Bush is definitely a stud gonna be a force in the middle. opposing teams wont be abusing their tight ends like they did the last few years.

i think the AFC North is gonna be super tough its gonna come down to who has enough healthy bodies this year. division got younger, faster and maybe even more downright brutal.

also its good for Steelers that they got Devin Bush to combat all these tight ends. gonna face the likes of Njoku and Ravens deep TE trio of Mark Andrews, Hayden Hurst and Nick Boyle.

Oh without a doubt, he can throw it. He worked on it all offseason and it has shown throughout camp and preseason. not quite perfect and will never be on the level of Mahomes but mechanics are notably improved. thats why i believe Ravens offense much better and more physical playmakers on that side of the ball than last season's team. keep an eye on Miles Boykin. they got themselves an anquan boldin/calvin johnson-esque go-get'em possession type reciever. Crabtree and John Brown were more finesse type recievers and didnt fit the team's style.

But the defense took a HUGE step back with the losses of CJ Mosely, Za'Darius Smith, Eric Weddle and Terrell Suggs.

Plus let's look at that "6-1" record (before getting blown out by the Chargers).

    1. 24-21 over the Bengals, who were missing AJ Green. The Bengals also missed a fg late in the 4th.
    2. 34-17 over the Raiders, one of the worst teams in the NFL. The Raven D scored 2 TDs this game.
    3. 26-16 over the Falcons, this was a nice win IN Atlanta.
    4. 27-24 OT loss to the Chiefs. I know this was a loss, but it was a good effort in KC, sabotaged by a Jackson fumble that nearly cost his team the game in regulation.
    5. 20-12 over the Buccaneers, another crap team.
    6. 22-10 over the Chargers, classic trap game! I remember winning a decent amount of money on this game as the Chargers were coming off their TNF win in KC and predictably screwed up. Still a good win for Baltimore. Although you have to be aware the Raven defense again scored a TD to ice the game late in the fourth, after the Chargers turned the ball over in Raven territory.
    7. 26-24 over the Browns, as Baker tossed a late 4th quarter pick in Ravens territory to end his comeback bid.

So... was it really Lamar Jackson, who averaged a mere 159 yards passing? Or the Ravens stellar defense? I'm gonna go with the latter here and I haven't seen anything from Jackson through 3 pre-season games that would suggest he's improved as a passer.

Most teams figure out one-dimensional QBs, especially in their second season. I have the Ravens going 7-9 this year. The losses to the defense far outweigh any benefit from signing what's left of Earl Thomas.
