Need assistance answering this question from Gemini/Exchange.
I fukked around & made multiple quick in & out transactions of 5 figures without any trading from Sportsbook to Bitpay account using Gemini as a middle & they sent me this .....

    Hi Jerkoff,

After reviewing your account, we noticed that you have developed a pattern of deposits and withdrawals with relatively little trading. Could you please provide an explanation for this activity? Also, could you please provide a brief projection of your intended activity on Gemini for the near future?

    Thank you,

    Team Gemini

(Yes I changed my name to “Jerkoff”)

Thye pay for your miners fees.

They don't like being used as a daily wallet for these sort of transactions.

Plus they ban gambling transactions so not a good middleman wallet anyway.

But i would just tell them you were dicking around testing to see how fast things happened. Or something non-descript like that.

If you say trading they may ask for statements if they dont believe you.

Or maybe tell them you had the coins in a wallet not compatible with BitPay, and you knew Gemini was so sent it there first.

If you've already got the coin, (which you have) then you can always just say nothing and never use them again.

Remember when Martha Stewart could have just said nothing but she chose to say something??!!

Was thinking that as well & just take a extended break. Or tell them what Optional said & express my distaste for questioning my personal account patterns & tell them I will no longer be using them in the foreseeable future.

Or next Sportsbook deposit to exchange or from a wallet. Actually make a few trades before I send to Bitpay.

Max amount on card is 25k. So I work around that number with my transactions.

I like Opti's answers here but you could always tell them you bought and immediately sold something, like a car. Some kind of private transaction.

Seems like the amounts are too high for the usual, computer components ploy.

Whatever you do, don't tell them you don't like to be questioned about account patterns.

They not only will question, they will investigate and, like Opti said, may look for statements, or more.

A private, personal transaction will less likely warrant further inquiry.

Tell them you might do it again in the future but don't plan on making it a regular habit, especially if they don't want you too.

As far as other future use, tell them you are getting into trading but may want to store coins for a bit, or that rare potential for private transactions, tell them sometimes you get deals on cars or something with some known crypto traders, or guys that like to deal in cryptos. These answers can be innocent and the thought of the storage and trading will get them looking away.

Then, just chill on moving coins in and out, they really frown on internet gambling and they will investigate if called to.

you should intimidate them by implying you were laundering money for dangerous ppl and tell them they should mind their own business if they know what's good for them.

                                                So Gemini collects nothing?

                                                Surely there is some fee?

they collect fees when you exchange your crypto for money or other crypto but he isnt doing that. he just transfers his own crypto to them then transfers it out. they are the ones getting charged.

That's why they want a run down of his future intentions.

If one insists on using Gemini for gambling, be nice, don't bite the hand that feeds.

That said, I don't think Gemini is an ideal hand to turn to for these very reasons.

I don't understand why these bitcoin exchange places have more security procedures than actual banks. I can open a bank account and do plenty of transactions without being hassled every godam time like these bitcoin places. What are they so afraid of? It's kind of ironic because I though bitcoin was supposed to be this anonymous currency without any regulations. I just don't understand why these places need more info from people than banks do.

I was not understanding the btc process and was experimenting. I let my cousin use the bitcoin and he paid me cash, I have no idea where he sent it from my wallet I just see the address. I am now in complete control of my wallet and in the future I will be using it for storage and maybe buying some digital things online at ONLY reputable marketplaces. I was not aware that wallets are not to be shared but NOW I am FULLY AWARE my wallet is like a bank account or debit card NOT TO BE shared. Sorry for the inconvenience and any link you can provide me to ensure I am in compliance with your terms and specifically addressing my actions to help me stay compliant would be truly appreciated.

Seems like the amounts are too high for the usual, computer components ploy.
