Puig, Alex Wood to Reds for Homer Bailey
    4:46 PM ET

The Los Angeles Dodgers are trading outfielders Matt Kemp and Yasiel Puig and pitcher Alex Wood to the Cincinnati Reds for pitcher Homer Bailey and prospects, according to multiple reports.

Also reportedly headed to the Dodgers are shortstop Jeter Downs, a first-round pick (No. 32) in the 2017 draft, and right-handed pitcher Josiah Gray, a second-round pick this past summer.

They must have a plan in mind,no way theyd do that deal for a 1-14 pitcher. Unless there were ulterior motives.

They got a pitcher in the deal baldy!! Bailey for wood woulda been a Win for cincy, and they got 2 bats also!! Puig gonna hit bunch of bombs in that bandbox!!!

Sure pitching wins, and guess what, reds just dumped a terrible pitcher! Cutting bailey would have made them better, surely you can admit getting 3 proven big leaguers for him is a big win?!?!?!

Feel bad for teams like the Reds & Pirates - in the toughest division in baseball and either forced to make weird moves like this or keep pumping in young kids and still losing.

Puig is a weapon in the outfield coach. You could bend over on home base and that Cuban would catch a ball on the warning track and throw it deeply into your keister.

Nl central is redic tough. Cubs, brewers, and cards all in good shape for years to come.

Pirates and reds could both compete in garbage al central!!

    Puig...

    28 years old

    Good, not great but...

If he hangs in low pressure Cinci for 10 years and averages 27 hr and 35 2b per...think...2 5 year contracts... guy going to hit 380 hrs

Might be a 300mm player in cinci if he keeps his mouth shut

Please. He's not going to hit 300 homeruns in the next 10 years.

Higher likelihood of him being out of baseball within five years.

    True.

I just heard a basketball player lied about his age. Buddy Heild of Sacramento. Apparently he's a year older or something. Funny stuff.

India’s teen soccer prodigy turns out to be 28 years old

The full mustache didn’t tip them off?
The All India Football Federation has finally discovered that the Indian Super League’s supposed 16-year-old soccer player Gourav Mukhi is actually 28 — at least — and now suspended six months for lying about his age, according to FOX Sports Asia.
Mukhi, playing for Jamshedpur FC, was recognized in October for becoming the youngest player to ever score in the Indian Super League. They’ll need to scratch that one from the record books.
Apparently the league’s executives don’t read the newspaper. A story in India’s The Telegraph, published before the season began, referred to the fully mustached Mukhi as being 28 years old.

It’s not the first time Mukhi has duped organizers, though. Per Fox Sports Asia, Mukhi was cited in 2015 for participating in a U16 National Camp in India, when, according to his new timeline, he would have been around 25 years old.

    Lee Harvey
Indian soccer player Gourav Mukhi has been suspended 6 months for pretending to be 16 years old. He scored a goal in a recent Indian Super League match "supposedly" making him as the youngest goal scorer in league history
