    Florida State to knock off #2 Clemson

    The Seminoles are getting 14.5 at home this Saturday. After an awful start to the season, FSU appears to have righted the ship and even though they are likely out of ACC contention at this point, they appear to be a formidable squad. Francois is hitting his targets and even though they coughed up the lead to Miami, that game was clearly not a fluke. Obviously they are loaded with talent so it was only a matter of time before they figured things out.

    On the other side, Clemson is rolling. They’ve demolished Wake and #16 NC State in back to back weeks and now all the talk is that we are headed for yet another rematch with Alabama.

    While I think Florida State has the potential to pull off the upset here, I will admit there are some mental hurdles they have to get past. They are a team that has been knocked down the past few seasons and during that time, Clemson has passed them in ACC supremacy. But something tells me we are headed for a major upset this Saturday. At the very least, what looked like a blowout a few weeks ago now has the makings of a hell of a matchup.

    I’m taking the 14.5 here with a taste on the ML as soon as it becomes available (likely in the +475 range).

    They’re improving. I think they’ll knock off someone they shouldn’t (ND), but Clemson DL is going to cause some problems for FSU’s OL.

    Florida State has the talent, and is playing at home, but they also have a terrible HC. Just who have they defeated? 4-3 No. Illinois? Who cares. Clemson has defeated Texas A&M and a previously undefeated N.C. State by 34 points. There is no way they lose this game. Florida State may get a cover, but I would not touch them.

    Dane gets it. While FSU is improving, Clemson is the better team. Clemson just goes through the motions but get up for this type of game. Especially after last year with FSU. I think CU wins by 3 TDs.

    The game I have circled is FSU beating ND in South Bend. Everything is setting up nicely.

    Fsu fan here also. Bingo...who the hell is going to block clemson d line. Wake Forest was getting pressure on Francois. Yes the same awful defense that gave up like 50 pts to BC. The same defense that gives up 500 yards per game. Maybe fsu gets 14 pts. Maybe

    FSU is terribly coached. Zero discipline. They were looking better, but i guess it was because they were overly talented than teams like wake and Louisville.

    Taggert is worth 3-7 points for whoever Floirda State's opposition is. He is just terrible. He bailed out at Oregon and look how well they are doing without him. A Bowl bid looks rather dim now for this terribly coached team.
