Rookie Blue Jays pitcher coughed up 7 runs in game vs Boston in July
Toronto won that game, Porcello was pitching and he got pounded
in the 3rd then was pulled. Since that game on July 13 he has been
incredible and is coming off a 1-hitter in 9 full innings against NYY.
This is his night to shut down Toronto, Red Sox against a rookie
that they already pounded for the sweep.

I would chase some obvious picks in NFL. Patriots and Philadelphia Eagles. Both at -3 or thereabouts. Not likely to be surprises in 1st Preason game.

I have the Over 34 in the Car/Buf preseason disaster.

I'm sure I will have MLB plays after the market closes and volume really piles into the market.

NFL preseason will probably have more volume than MLB by a mile.

There has to be some good bets in there.

I have no MLB plays so far for the Contrarian Fund.

Under in Tex/NYY and Toronto getting closer, but I haven't seen what I need to in the market to trigger a contrarian Fund play.

The target triggers are tight as the games are handicapped as well but we need to gather more information.

I know it's preseason, but bettors are chomping at the bit.

I put some preseason strategies in the other thread but from the back end market standpoint, I am hearing and seeing that a tremendous amount of action is on the Chicago over Cinci.

The line has pretty much moved accordingly but it may be freezing at a pickem'.

It sure looks like the books are taking a position here but I expect a volume update that should clarify this situation.

It will reveal a little more.

I knew it, been watching this all day. I've seen nothing but sharp looking action hit it in the marketplace.

The KVB MLB Contrarian Fund has picked up Toronto on the moneyline of Boston.

I have a range of prices from +142 to over +150.

The SBR contest price was generous today with a +155.

A lot of action in Boston vs Toronto.

For the Total is fairly split, nothing extreme but worth noting that it appears the public tickets are on the Over while a little more money, the bigger money, disagrees and is on the Under.

I have 7 to 8 mph winds blowing INWARD toward the plate.

Gabe Morales, the Ump, has an Under record of 59-76 losing about 20 units on the season.

He averages 9.2 runs per game.

It is my opinion that the Bos/Tor Total is well set line and, if anything, the Contrarian Fund is close but target triggers just outside its scope favors the Under play.

While I have the Ump up, his home record is 74-71 losing about 13.5 units.

May see light rain later in the night.
