these are the type of threads that make me wonder if you're a paid poster pushing games like JJGold does. This is a horrific idea. 1 even strength goal in two games. They cant penetrate the defense over the blue line, they just fire long distance shots. Tampa stinks. Compared to the Pens matchup, the Caps probably think this is a bye round. Caps have won the cup. But the sign of clutch NHL teams in my viewing experience is how they close out periods
Pit, Chicago, Kings, the old Red Wings teams -- they always closed out periods with goals.
Washington has been doing that consistently.
