Irving/Hayward are terrible defensive players. That's why I don't think the Celtics are missing much by having those guys not play. The guys they do have playing all give it their all on the defensive end.

What the Celtics are doing reminds me of the Pistons back 10 years ago. When they didn't have any superstars, but they all played defense and did their jobs, and they had great coaching, and they won a title and got to the finals the next year.

hayward not too bad on d imo. but what i wanted to say is, that the celtics have such a complete rosters that they are basically unbeatable if everyone comes back. just too good..noone even comes close to that roster

Agreed. Celtics will be the first to say that game 1’s result has no bearing on game 2. Lebron will be very aggressive early and a pissed off Lebron can be very scary to any opponent.
