yes he could've flipped them over right away before the flop, but you would've still had a split-second of pain... whether it was seeing the K flop or seeing his king 5 seconds later

poker etiquette is so weird... people get pissed off about stuff like this, but yet being unfriendly isn't as frowned on... i've had people threaten to rob/stab/kill me in the parking lot after a game, now that is bad etiquette!

The fact that they didn't flip right away was a sure sign it was a garbage hand. Too embarrassed to show, they would have mucked if it didn't hit. Only a matter of time before they give it all away anyway.

Sweeper was player a tourney at The MGM when we had the poker meet and greet and a guy "hesitated" calling an all in when he had a full house....honest to god he took a good 2 minutes to make the decision to call.....guy was bereted for the rest of the tourney....

Everyone plays cash that way. They always wait until the end to flip over their hands. Lots of times the two dumb fukks sit there and stair at each other waiting for the other guy to show first. If I got a boat or something that is likely to be a 90% winner I just flip it over right away.

But I agree the guy could clearly see you had queens and should have flipped over once he took the lead.

My plan was to play poker all 7-days, party a day or two and bet Ncaa hoops....that plan never saw the light of day. I have friends who live out in Henderson who dont gamble and were just blowing me up to come out and party so thats pretty much what I did. No regrets tho. Blast

Similar thing happened to me with queens; I raised to 15 pre and a guy went all in for his last 40. I called and flipped my queens over. Guy kept his cards down. Flop J-9-3.... guy starts smiling...... turn 2..... river 10....... guy flips over J9 off. I left about 10 minutes after that.

Sorry, but neither scenario is a slowroll.

The noble thing to do when there is no more action to come is to turn your cards up....whoever disagrees is a POS in my book. We were playing 1-3nl for christs sakes.
