Some of you may have forgotten how tournaments work. In regular season games... several teams COULD go undefeated. In Tournament and Playoff games... only 1 team can do that. If an NFL team won 92 out of 100 playoff games they would be considered godlike.

About the other comment... that's what SBR is!! SBR is mostly people talking about what others have done or are going to do. Let's assume that my life is so boring that I need to find things others have done so I have something to talk about like you said... that means that your life is so boring that you need to point out how boring you think my life is.

I appreciate greatness. I don't care what you're great in. You can be great at tiddly winks for all I care. But if you are so far ahead of everyone else in what you do that you can acquire the best Record EVER... this is fascinating to me. This is what I'm looking for. Not many people like this have existed. There's been almost no one that has ever been so dominate in their field that they win over 90% in Tournament/Playoff games. Find me someone like this and I just might give you 100 points. I know most people look at this thread and think... "Who cares? What's the point?" and that's fine... I think I have a different appreciation for greatness than some of you.

YOU want to spend MY points differently. Is this correct so far? You should really get into politics. You're platform could be... "I promise to spend YOUR money the way I want to". If you don't like it when politicians pretend to know how to spend YOUR money better than you do... than you are a hypocrite because that's exactly what you are doing in this thread. You don't see it because you're the one doing it. But when people do it to you you don't like it. This is what is known as a hypocrite. Look it up if you don't what it means. Congrats to ArunSh! I was not familiar with Marion Tinsley until this thread. He was quite the master. Quite possibly the best anyone has ever been at anything. That's impressive!

For anyone else interested in earning Points, I started a thread several years ago giving away 100 Points to the first 5 people to beat me at Reversi 6x6. Now, I am giving away 500 Points to the first person that can beat me at a game called Hexversi. Hexversi is a very simple game that can literally be learned in less than a minute. I will also give away 100 Points to the first 2 people that can achieve at least Half of my score in a COMPLETED game of Hexversi. If anyone is interested let me know in this thread. I'll take on all comers and computer programs as well.

How in the hell do you figure that you won? If you had any balls at all you would play me in a game of Hexversi. If you win... you get 500 points... and you can spend them in any foolish way that you want. If you lose... you lose nothing! You talk a lot of trash but I don't see you doing anything to back it up.

Feel free to post those important questions in here. What I asked was questions that were simple to anyone who had a slightly better understanding of Excel than I do. I gave them 10 points as you said. Here is my reasoning, the people who answered those questions probably spent less than a minute to give the answer because they already knew the formula! To you, that might be worth 100 points... and maybe it is. To me... the question in this thread is FAR more challenging. Whatever Google search you do will likely not find you the best answer. If it did... everyone would have given the same answer... they did not.

You're only partially right about the Hexversi comment. I didn't start the thread to point out that I'm the best ever at Hexversi. I didn't even mention Hexversi until I already gave away the points. I started this thread because I wanted to see how I stacked up against others who were dominant in their game/sport.

Thanks John! As a lifelong chess player, obviously this fact was something that was interesting to me - also him being the last human to beat a top computer which is pretty much 100% impossible in chess or checkers (obviously checkers is solved while chess the engines are just too strong). But yeah to be that dominant, pretty amazing - never seen anything like that in chess or any other game.

I don't spend a lot of time on SBR. Maybe the only times you see me on SBR is when I am asking questions about things that I don't know or understand. This is why you see me the way that you do. Fair enough. I know I don't give away as many points as some of the other posters... maybe even yourself.. I don't know... like I said I am not on SBR much. But the fact is... I do give away points on occasion. That's more than a lot posters ever do. The problem you seem to have with me is that I am not giving away MY points the way you think I should. If you spend ANY amount of time worrying about how OTHER PEOPLE are spending THEIR points or money you're going to make yourself miserable because this is not a solution. It doesn't work. It never will. The only thing you can do is to lead by example. If I'm not spending MY points the way you see fit then the only thing you can do is to spend YOUR points in a way that you think I should be doing.
