Cris Weekly Review For The Week Of December 19
Weekly Review for For The Week Of December 19

Christmas came early this week for us at www.betcris.com. It was a terrific week for us all way round, with NBA and College basketball returning some major upsets during the week and then finally a couple of big results went our way with the NFL this weekend. Teasers on the NFL were nothing short of spectacular this week… Finally! Dallas’s great record in the ‘Washington rivalry’ games has been terrific and the public certainly thought it would continue but Washington thought differently and that result was by far the best for us this week. Here is the break down of this weeks NFL games…

Tampa Bay at New England- Luckily we got out of this game with a small loss. All week the public loved New England and moved the line from 4.5 points to close New England -6 points. We honestly thought Tampa Bay would receive allot of money considering how well they have played recently but it just didn’t happen. This one was a good public result. The only thing that maybe saved us was the game total staying under the 38 points. Result- New England 28-0

Kansas City at NY Giants- Nearly as good a result for us as Washington was on Sunday. Nearly all our teaser bettors ‘hooked up’ Kansas City in teaser bets, so a big win by the Giants was well received. Result- Giants 27-17

Denver at Buffalo- This one was damage control for us. Most weeks it has been hard to attract money on Buffalo and this week was the same. Denver closed a 8 point favorite after opening at 7.5 points. We had to go all the way to +9 to attract Buffalo money which is huge value considering they were at home. Result- Denver 28-17

Pittsburgh at Minnesota- A good result for the public with Pittsburgh opening up a 3 point favorite and closing with allot of support to be a 4.5 point favorite. Minnesota’s dream run finally came to an end at our expense with the public supporting the more solid Pittsburgh team. Result- Pittsburgh 18-3

San Diego at Indianapolis- San Diego proved Indianapolis are human after all. Even with Indianapolis opening a 7.5 point favorite and closing lower at only 6.5 points, San Diego winning was terrific. The main losers with this game were teaser bettors who ‘teased’ Indy to a pick. The game total was also good for the house having stayed below the 51-53 points. Result- San Diego 26-17

San Francisco at Jacksonville- Jacksonville nearly fell on their butts big time. Jacksonville opened a whopping 14.5 point favorite and closed even higher at 16. Some of our money line players were very anxious taking the -1500 on Jacksonville to win straight up, one in particular risking $75000 to win $5000. If only San Francisco could have finished the game off with a win, it would have been spectacular, but overall it was ok staying below the point margin of 16. Result Jacksonville 10-9

Seattle at Tennessee- The fight that Tennessee provided against Seattle was at the public’s expense with the average bettor all over Seattle betting the spread of -7 points. Thankfully for us Tennessee came back after an early Seattle assault. Result- Seattle 28-24

Arizona at Houston- Houston finally finished a game and was rewarded with a win. Arizona was well supported opening a 1 point favorite and closing at 3 points. After being ‘teased’ the last few weeks by Houston, this week we actually got the result we needed from them with the public backing against them nearly all year, and especially considering they think Houston want to stay the number one draft pick favorite to obtain Reggie Bush. Next week will be interesting now that they have won and are equal with San Francisco on 2 wins. Result- 30-19

NY Jets at Miami- This one was so close to being another great result for us with Miami having lots of support. Miami went from a 7.5 point favorite to close a 8.5 point favorite. Miami took the lead in the final quarter and the Jets had the final chance to score, but couldn’t do it. It was still a good result, but the Jets outright could have been spectacular. Result- Miami 24-20

Carolina at New Orleans- Carolina was well supported by the public especially when we opened them at -7.5 points. They closed at 9.5 points and attracted a lot of money, especially when the news of Aaron Brooks was being benched for Todd Bouman. Result- Carolina 27-10

Dallas at Washington- Easily the best NFL game for us this year. Dallas was well supported from straight bets to parlays, to all the teaser bets in the world. Washington actually opened up being the favorite at -3+20, but Dallas closed a 1.5 point favorite in this ‘rivalry’ match. Result- Washington 35-7

Cincinnati at Detroit- Detroit receives no love from the public, and this week was no different with the public all over Cincinnati -7 to -9 points. With the game total going over the 44-45 points, this game was definitely a public game. Result- Cincinnati 41-17

Cleveland at Oakland- A good result for teaser bettors, but in general it was a good result for us. Luckily the Washington and San Diego results went our way or this game would have hurt. Result- Cleveland 9-7

Philadelphia at St Louis- This game wasn’t really the biggest betting game considering all the injuries both teams have suffered, but a 1 point result by Philly was well received by the public. Result- Philadelphia 17-16

Atlanta at Chicago- The public normally like the favorite in the Sunday night and Monday night games, and this one was the same. The public liked Chicago and also bet the total to stay under the 30.5 points considering the great defenses on display aswell as the zero temperature. Result- Chicago 16-3

With San Diego stopping Indianapolis’s winning streak the betting world will be very wary of Indy resting players. New England could also be resting players this week after clinching the AFC East Division.

    Until next week,
