Player asks BetUs about SBR's rating...
This is the kind of stuff that makes people associate BetUs with the word shady. The player asks them about SBR's rating and is told to check the "independent" Insiders betting digest.

Are you aware your book is on SBR's Blacklist?

    Can you explain this?

Yes we have chosen not to advertise with them, remember most sportsbook reviews are very biases, you can go to Insiders betting digest it's an independent magazine that ranks Sportsbooks, you can also go to other "sportsbook reviews and we are ranked A+. The bottom line is we have been around for over 12 years we are the 3 largest sportsbook in North America. I think that in it's self would tell you how replicable we are.

If you have any more questions please feel free to contact us at 800-777-1735 or email me again.

    Regards
    Ron

What a fascinating bit of broken English. There is a sort of spooky sense to it. If they are, in fact, the 3 largest sportsbooks in North America, then I guess that proves they are very replicable.

It's like Invasion of the Body Snatchers meets the gaming industry.

Replicable?!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I think he means "reputable". It would appear to me that Ron from BetUS deserves to be in the assclown thread.

BetUs is a better sportsbook than they were two years ago. There is no doubt about that but they still get the Dishonest Marketing Award.

and my favorite, squating off the CRIS powered DSI...

Wow! Yea, they choose not to advertise with SBR..hahaha!!

That is about as funny as Kevin King telling the Wall Street Journal recently that we were picking on them because they had a few slow pays because of payment processors.

One day these books will learn they can't get away with their bs because there is at least one web site that is going to get the word out. On the other hand, if they conduct business honorably they will receive tons of free clients.

well sure your gonna be around for 12 years. thats because they steal the winners money when they feel like it.

i love the way they put in there little disclaimer on those ad's. when it comes to old dispute claims.

I suppose "replicable" means "able to be copied or replicated". That makes perfect sense. Look at all the books that have come along in the last 12 years who copied the practices of BetUS and replicated themselves into F ratings.

BetUS is indeed quite "replicable" and I applaud Ron for his honesty and candor.

As long as the search feature on SBR and gaming forums work, the lies can only be pushed so far. The reality is that if the player is going to make his decision based on one call to the clerk there is a good chance he could walk into a bad situation.

That's why I think the fake DSI site is worse than the marketing ploys. A player mistypes the url or uses Google search results to get the domain and he sends money to the wrong place. Its not a wrong choice, he was duped.

i guess thats one way of putting it. i think most of us call it something else though.

i know theres laws and regulations. but, theres nothing illegal about this type of stuff at all. but, i doubt we ever see anything like that, til some high ranking goverment offical gets burnt over something like this.

Have there been any no pays from BetUS in the last two years? I'm still not at the point of recommending them but I may take the plunge myself.

raiders, even if there weren't any forum complaints. i'm sure there has to be alot more outstanding markers still unpaid. so needless to say, I still wouldn't take the plunge personaly.
