Yeah, what toler said. And there are always bigger fish to fry.

One thing Meyer did which was genius though was appear on a radio show where he told the host he'd wager $10,000 of his own money if he couldn't go 60% that year with his picks. He was on the radio every week. He obviously lost, but he pretty much got hundreds of thousands of radio ad spend for 10K.

Con artists are dying off by the thousands these days with social media being what it is. Before the internet, you could get away with just about anything if you were smart.

When you're an insecure dickbag, and you need cars and houses to get people to love you, your overhead goes way up, and $250-$350K per year just won't cover that lifestyle anymore.

I bet the big victim, Sadoff, could probably go after (monetarily) the Feds or law enforcement for not sending Meyer to jail, which would have never led to Sadoff's victimization.
