Just a quick update. From what I've managed to learn from NETeller today (http://www.neteller.com) it would appear that SunsetSports of old and Sunset Sports/Wager of new are using the exact same NETeller Merchant Account Number.
NETeller writes:
"I have received a response from the merchant. The merchant has stated that they are experiencing complications with their web site. They are working as fast as possible in order to relocate all their accounts. The merchant has noted that it will take a few days to get everything back to normal. If you do not receive a response within a week, please reply to this email so we can do an inquiry to the merchant on your behalf."
...this ties in nicely with what luckwind and natrass have posted but runs counter to EVERYTHING they (SunsetSports) have said or written to me. FYI...in my last phone conversation with SunsetSports yesterday, they claimed that they had been scammed by the old owners, who had run off with the money, disconnected their phones, etc...and there was nothing they can do about it. This makes me think that when their phone rings – they simply flip a coin (or maybe they have a spinner thingey, similar to Twister), the result of which dictates which version of their ‘truth’ to tell.
One final comment, it is indeed interesting then to learn that SunsetSports of new (which absolutely, positively asserts - to me at least, it has entirely no connection whatsoever with the SunsetSports of old) is still using the very same funding vehicle; yep, the EXACT, same NETeller Merchant Account Number that the "old owners" who "scammed" them used. Per-leaze!!!
Apologies btw for repeating myself.
