    blows me away the number of people who say sac got fleeced when reporters with actual nba contacts say there was little interest in cousins.

    one thing to keep in mind is if sacramento plays worse the rest of the season they get to keep their 1st round pick this year. so trading cousins to a large degree gets them a very high draft pick.

    vlade isn't doing himself any favours saying he had better deal 2 days later. basically if he went to do deal and it wasn't there then he probably never actually had a better deal

      the draft system makes alot of it self-correcting anyway...... if it doesn't work for either team they end up with much better draft picks in coming years.

        Thing is they would have definitely gotten better offers had they waited.
