Let's talk futures.

I placed these, and may add two or three more max throughout the season. By March I'll have 2 or 3 main horses with a couple long shots left.

Kentucky 9/1
Kansas 9/1

MSU 20/1
Syracuse 20/1

Uconn 40/1
Gonzaga 50/1
Florida State 150/1

There's some other teams I considered, and I'm still high on doing well, but just don't see them winning everything, including:
Indiana
Louisville
Xavier
Wisconsin
Oregon
Arizona (if Allonzo Trier plays I will bet this. Still some confusion on possible ineligibility or season-long suspension.)

I can do some of this by memory lol

2016 Villanova was about 20/1
2015 Duke was between 7/1 - 9/1
2014 Uconn was 100/1
2013 Louisville was somewhere 12/1 -16/1

2010 Duke was huge favorite < 5/1
2009 UNC was huge favorite < 5/1

Would be interesting to see the real numbers though.

I think Kansas and Kentucky are both better teams. Duke might have the most pure talent, but they're dealing with injuries to injury-prone guys, and they're gonna be hurting without a good true point guard on their team.

Isiah Briscoe is a shooting guard who struggled to score last year. He was a 5 star recruit, he's a sophomore this year and looks to have really improved his play and leadership skills.

Willis is a PF/C who can step back and shoot a 3. I think he's a junior or senior. The dude with the Native American tats. He'll be clutch coming off the bench.

2-5 games per weekday, anywhere from 5-20 per Saturday

I wanted to ask how much you'd risk on these futures bets. A full unit apiece?

You're welcome, glad I could help.

That's a good question, I knew it was coming and considered posting them before. For now, I have 1 unit on UK & KU. The others range from .1 to .3. The math works out so any of them profit overall, with most profit lying on FSU, KU, UK.

I'll probably add to some of these futures around Christmas time, unless the odds change drastically for the bad.

Then I do a last round in March and could add a team when brackets are released.

I think Xavier could have a strong season maybe this year Kentucky make a deep run although it's very difficult with young guys to beat older guys in college even if there's a talent difference

First off, I don't get all the UNC love. Yes, they have experience. But Joel Berry < Marcus Paige. And outside of Berry, this team can't shoot for shit, especially from 3. So they're dependant on offensive boards and scoring down low, and they lost Brice Johnson from last season, who was one of the best in the country at offensive boards and scoring down low. Don't see why anybody would have them above Wisconsin - which is the other most experienced team but returns their clutch PG.

Villanova slightly overrated too, who lost their senior leader and defensive motor, Ryan Arcidiacono. I get that Hart & Jenkins return, and Brunson looks like he has potential to become one of the top 10 PGs in the league. Without Ochefu as the go-to down low, a lot will ride on freshman big Omari Spellman, not sure if he can fill the void.
