I did. Nothing. Maybe because it was given to me before you added that feature (poster's name)?

I looked into posters profile also. Nowhere can I find their rep points and comments.

I'm not clear on where these points are showing but I have to say, I like the concept.

I'm always very conscious of and concerned for newbies.
This may help them. For example, if someone has a reputation for touting crap books or lying about their capping record, then hopefully that would become reflected in their reputation points. It is good for newbies to have some kind of red flag saying, a lot of people don't trust this poster.

If it's true, why shouldn't that information be available?

These forums can be confusing to newbies - particularly when there are guys creating aliases to tell themselves how great they are - or else they just have little groups of sleazy friends with shared agendas who tout each other. Newbies can waste a lot of time and possibly money following bad information.

Hopefully experienced posters can make sure that people with agendas - who view newbies as marks - are clearly indicated.

Honest, respected people who aren't selling anything have nothing to be concerned about.

Hey thanks for the input Mud.

I noticed that the reputation "note" for each reputation level is kind of vauge and does not represent a very accurate description of what a user means to the board as a whole. There are a lot more positive notes than negative notes.

Maybe you guys could help come up with some levels and notes.

How would you label these reputation levels? and what levels would you add, change or delete.

Thus, if readers are flagging a thread or a poster as being abusive or just disruptive, the moderators have more of a papertrail of justification for deleting threads or taking action against particular posters. It looks like just another moderator tool.
didn't think of that but you are correct imo

It figures that you would like this concept. It just gives SBR another way to cheat like you do with the books. Even though I deserve the worst reputation points if SBR doesn't like a poster then Dave just rigs the points. It's similar to when the posts were missing and then put back. Dave lied about that.

I never voted against Dave as Dave wouldn't let you vote for him when I was around earlier. I just went to vote for him and got this message.

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Dave again.
                                The fix is in.

Here's a surprise. Three of the biggest frauds on the forum, Mudcat, Dave and Taco, gave me bad reps.

Dave- Keep up the good work.

But didn't you give me a bad rep first? Glass houses, raiders, glass houses.

Nice to see that you agree with the whole idea of voting for points being gay, but being fully prepared to use it yourself. Congratulations on coming out on the forums.
