Browns have beaten the stool pigeons 6 straight at home and are now 8-0 on Thursday Night.

Watson becomes the 1st QB to have 3 straight 4th quarter wins in 25 years.

Browns are winning despite racking up ridiculous penalties. 25 in the last 2 games. Clean that shit up.

An ugly win is prettier than a pretty loss.

Kardiac Browns…. Watson looking like Brian Sipe with late game heroics.

Couch could not come close to Brian Sipe’s heroics. I’m not sure any QB had so many last minute wins in such a short time frame. Every week was crazy drama. Watson now has 3 late game comebacks but still a long way to catch Sipe.

During the core "Kardiac Kids" era (1979–1980), Brian Sipe engineered 8 fourth-quarter comebacks and 11 game-winning drives.
Looking at his entire 10-year career, Sipe's late-game numbers are even more impressive:
              • 17 Fourth-Quarter Comebacks: Games where he led a drive to overcome a fourth-quarter deficit.
              • 23 Game-Winning Drives: Drives in the fourth quarter or overtime that put the team ahead for the final victory.
His most intense stretch was during the 1979 season alone, when he led the NFL with a staggering 7 game-winning drives to officially kickstart the Kardiac Kids phenomenon.

Of course we lost to the Raiders in the AFCchampionship game that same season in heart attack fashion. In FG range at the end of the game, Sipe throws a heart wrenching interception to send the Raiders to the Super Bowl, which they won. Ughhh. Red right 88, The drive, the fumble all still hurts to the core of Browns fans 50+ years later.
