Puck drops on the NHL Playoffs Saturday, April 18th and we have a forum contest lined up with the popular 'Pick X' format. Free to play with $175 to the top 3 finishers!
Prize Pool:
1st - $100
2nd - $50
3rd - $25
Contest Format:
- Pick any 4 teams out of the field of 16 before the 1st game. Once the playoffs start, no additional picks are made.
- Simply tap on 4 teams from the poll below and hit submit. Make sure you submit only 4 teams - if you submit more than 4, you will be DQ'd.
- Also reply with your answer to the tie-breaker question: How many total games will be played in the first round? Example: 45 (Min 32, Max 56)
- Every time one of a member's teams win a series, they are awarded the number of points equal to the team's seed PLUS a certain number of points depending on the round according to the following table:
- Note: Since the NHL does not have traditional 1-8 seeding in each conference, we will use the following seeds:
Division Winners - 1
Division 2nd Place - 2
Division 3rd Place - 3
Wild Cards - 4
- Example: A member picks a 2 seed and that team wins 3 rounds. They will be awarded 12 points (3 in Rd 1 + 4 in Rd 2 + 5 in Rd 3).
- Pick deadline is 3:00 PM ET on Saturday, April 18th. Standings will be based on most total points at the end of the playoffs.
Best of luck!
