The books think the White Sox are thirteen games (wins) better than the Rockies.
Mind you, these are the White Sox who have lost 324 games the past three seasons.
    (102. 121, 102)

That 121 loss, the 2024 team was the worst in MLB history.
Point being, how stinky can this year's Rockies team be?
Obviously, they're next-level stinky to be rated 13 games worse than the worst team of the live ball era.
White Sox team's win o/u is 67.5, the Rockies' is 54.5, thirteen games worse than the worst team of this, or any other generation.

Not for nothing, the Marlins are underrated; they have some real live arms, too.
Over 72.5 wins is my best bet on the board.

Mariners are loaded with front-line pitching, and sport a nice lineup too.
    They should win 90+ games.

I may be a Royals homer, but they're much better than a .500 team.
I want to bet that, but I don't like tying up money for six months, laying -110.

I really like Cleveland under the Win total.

I like the Mariners too but not sure they win over 90

Don’t know but I’m feeling like the Big Dumper is going lay a big dump this season. Last year seems like a fluke and not expecting much from Mariners.

Funny you should mention The Dumpster.

Every year, I play in the NFC (fantasy yearlong), and we got to talking about who's in line for a regression, who's going to breakout, etc.
The first name that some of them said was Cal Raleigh, and I agree.

In some of the other big boy leagues, Raleigh is going off the board between 22- 32 (late second round, early third round)
                Which, IMO, is ludicrous.

That's not to say Cal is going to shit the bed this season, but yeah, pitchers are going to be careful with him; it's difficult to put monster seasons like that back to back (unless you're Judge or Ohtani). The baseball book is full of examples of those kinds of failures.
                Brady Anderson comes to mind.

Second- and third-round picks are too valuable.
Hope is for suckers, and to use a second round choice hoping Raleigh does it again, when you can have one of the 'Big Three' starting pitchers, or a Bryce Harper, or Freddie Freeman, or a Matt Olsen, or any other thumpers that are already track record proven, just isn't fantasy baseball smart.

Not only that, but Cal only checks two of the five boxes. (HR, RBI)
Having said all that, if Raleigh were to fall to me, say, late fourth round, or beyond, I'd consider him, fifth round, I'd be thrilled to have him, but not before pick #46.

Atlanta under 87.5- Tough division and they already have numerous injuries...not sure pitching will hold up.

Chisox over 67.5- Weak division and they will be improved...but by how much? Their core of young talent takes a step forward this season.

SF under 89.5- Is that a typo? I'm guessing that number should be 79.5? No way they win 90+ and do not think they improve much from last year in a very tough division.

Rangers over 83.5- I like their starting pitching and think their offense comes back to life a bit after being dormant most of last year.

I was going to go over on the Padres 83.5 but am very concerned about the starting pitching so going to lay off. The bullpen will be very good and the offense is deeper and think they score more runs than last year.

Nice breakdown. I like the Rangers over too if the offense bounces back, and the Atlanta under makes sense with that division. I saw similar numbers earlier on Bitcoin-Betting. Good luck.

                      Good eye, JP.
I cut and pasted those win totals from the source, then formatted the chart so it's readable here...
99 times out of 100, there is no need to fact-check, as they are usually spot-on accurate.

After reading your post, I said to myself, " I think JP may be correct here."
And you are, it was a typo from the source.
Damn you, Peavy, do you ever get tired of being correct?

Kidding, of course, nice eye again.

Giants front two SP are nice (Logan Webb and Robbie Ray)
They have plenty of thunder sticks in the middle of the order, too.
80.5 is worth a look. Click image for larger version Name:	image.png Views:	0 Size:	45.4 KB ID:	29929974

I believe Bader is hurt, at least he was.
I need to fact-check that status.

                        ^^

Nasher, if SF win total 89.5 I'd back up the Brinks truck to the ticket window. At 80.5 is a no play for me as I see them being right around .500 with a slight lean to the over.

Thanks for the kind words but I'm probably wrong more often or just as often as I'm right.
