Mendoza -8000 to go #1 overall in the upcoming NFL draft.
80:1 is a truckload of lumber.

No way:
1) QB of top team often gets over-rated.
2) His stock rose dramatically LATE. Akili Smith?
3) There have to be other prospects that grade out similarly. And with a top pick, you want to be confident that you can sign him. Is there any issue w/ him holding out?
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

The Raiders said they'd move off the #1 for the right package of picks/players.
No way would I lay 80:1

Sounds like an opportunity to fade at good odds.

No. I believe he will go #1 but why lay those odds? It seems like a slam dunk but no interest in risking a ton to win pennies. What if he slips in the shower and breaks his leg days before the draft or gets hit by a car etc etc? The risk is not worth the reward.
