The little guy did what no other man in MLB history has done.
That being the only player to hit a walk-off, game-seven-winning HR in World Series history.

Maz did what every Little Leaguer could only dream of doing.
Single-handling torpedo the mighty, mighty Yankees.

God needs another second baseman. He called up a great one.
RIP, sir, you did every one of us Little Leaguers proud.

Ralph Terry hangs a bleeding meatball to Maz, man, his eyes must have lit up when he realized Uncle Charlie wasn't going to bend.
I had trouble with the curveball.
Bill knew exactly what to do with this yakker.

Went back and did my reading on the 1960 series. Was famous for a few things:
          1) Yanks outscored the Pirates, 55-27. Shouldn't have been close.
          2) The Mazeroski HR to seal it.
          3) Clemente in his prime (at age 26). Clemente's brilliance could impact a game in so many ways. Kept the Pirates in it until Maz hit the Home Run.
