    *Fun Fact*
From 1970 to 1974, Three Dog Night sold more albums than The Who, Led Zep, The Rolling Stones, and The Beatles.
Chew on that while trying to tell me why that band is not in the Hall of Fame?
(Short answer, which I am not capable of doing, is that none of them was a songwriter)

Behind the Breakfast in America album, in a box somewhere, buried in the bowels of my old parents' basement, you can find a couple of or three Three Dog Nights albums.
They might not have been songwriters, but nobody did three-part harmony better than them, with the possible exception of Simon and Garfunkel if Art and Paul had a third member.

My personal favorite, back in the days when rock was rock.

The Bee Gees had a storybook career; they were fantastic, and I loved them.
Thing was, I was first introduced to Chicago, Blood Sweat and Tears, and 3DN.
I'm biased towards those three bands. Blood, Sweat, and Tears had a phenomenal brass section, so underrated.

Here's Negron and 3DN singing a love song in three-part harmony.
            That band was so versatile.

            Just an old-fashioned love song

One I'm sure they wrote for you and me
