The good news is that Saleh is a solid coach who deserves this second chance as an NFL Head Coach.
The bad news is that his new employer, The Titans, might be the worst of all the professional teams.

The Raiders and Jets are just as stinky, but unlike Nashville, Las Vegas, and New York City cater to your every need, as those two cities run 24/7.
Nashville is a good a music city as it gets, that's where it ends though.

It's surprising how often Australian friends will mention both Nashville and Memphis as among the best cities in America to visit.

And most people here will sneer at the idea of visiting NYC or Vegas or LA more than once. Not that they dislike those places. Just don't find them as vibrant and interesting as Tennessee.

Houston is another city Australians seem to really like in my experience. Minnesota often suggested as the best state to live if planning to stay in America longer term too.

Opti, that's a very good perspective. USA has some nice places. Per usual, there are pros/cons:

*TENN: has good music. Unusual shape for a state, stretches wide E/W from Nashville to Knoxville. Can't say I've spent a ton of time in TENN.
*New York: is spacious, not that easy to navigate. Has the tourist attractions. Many Americans will avoid NYC, as it feels too big.
*Vegas: obviously has all the entertainment options. Gambling options for the forum-guys. I will say that Vegas popularity is waning, mostly b/c it's gone from affordable to expensive.

...Just my opinions (above). The tip that I give to people: UTAH is a diamond in the rough. If you come to Vegas, take five days to drive to Utah to visit the National parks.

Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Tennessee's crime rate is wicked high.

Memphis and Nashville rank #1 and #3 in crime.

Aussies are probably a bit naive, and much less concerned, about crime stats than the average American.

Living in a place where most people don't believe anyone has a right to shoot anyone, even cops, seems to make us less sensitive about dangers in the USA. As it "seems" so similar to home in so many other ways we just expect it's not that different safety wise too.

MINN is the Most Corrupt & Crime Ridden State in the US. True Americans want to trade it to the COONUCKS for ALBERTA.
