Josh Allen was determined that last fourth quarter last week against Jax; it looked like he was on a mission from God.
Since that awful loss to the stinky Dolphins nine weeks ago, Allen and the Bills have gone 6-2, the losses being to Houston by four points, and Philly by one, 13-12.
They're not blowing anybody away, except for the Jets, but a team led by QB Ray Charles and Helen Keller could beat the Jets.
I haven't drunk the Denver Kool-Aid all season.
I'm aware of the Denver defense, third-best scoring defense, second-best run defense, but you can pass on the Broncos.
I did a semi-deep dive on the Broncos; they did get fat on bad teams, and they've given up 134 points from weeks 12-17 (22 pts ppg), which is 4 points higher than their season average, when they were crushing inferior teams like the Jets, Giants, Titans, Bengals, and Raiders.
Personally, I think Denver's defense is overrated. They'll keep Cook to under 100 yards, but I expect a seventy burger out of the big back, plus he's a capable pass aatcher out of the backfield. Josh Allen and his buddy Shakir have been totally in sync recently. Kincaid and Knox make a nice one-two tight end tandem. I can see Josh having a big game through the air.
Buffalo's pass rush is better than most give them credit for, not elite, but more than good enough to get in Nix's face today.
There's a reason why Buffalo led the league in pass defense (157 yards ppg).
Lastly, Buffalo was -3 in the takeaway/giveaway department, and Denver was +1
The wrong team is favored, even if Denver is at home at Mile High.
Josh Allen and Buffalo +1.5 please.
Bills all day.
Best bet
Bills +1.5
