Hurricane warning in Dallas. Miami +9.5
The first playoff game is tonight. Ohio State is looking to repeat as national champs. OSU has a lot of talent. Their defense is solid and the offense is very dynamic, where they can stretch the field. But 9.5 points seems too much. Miami has a legit defensive front. They can get pressure just rushing 4. I am not sold on OSU QB Sayin. He’s basically a freshman QB in the biggest game of his life. How many big games has Carson Beck been in? I’ll take the most experienced QB here. 9.5 is too many points. This will come down to the wire. Points maybe at a premium. This line is a gift.

Miami +9.5. Sprinkler a little on the ML

i also like Miami +5.5 first half. OSU could be flat resting a month.

Jerry’s world in Dallas (Arlington, TX). Probably be 60/40 OSU fans but shouldn’t be a factor.

Mac, I think you're on to something. My action play = OhioSt Team-Total UNDER 24.5 1.95
...Let's see if Bain and company are up to the billing.
...OhioSt WRs are really good. As you say, bit of a spot for a Frosh QB.

We’re looking good so far. Miami is winning the LOS. Should have scored more than 14 points in that half though. This next OSU possession coming out of the half is crucial. If Miami can get a stop and put up points and go up 3 possessions, game over.

And on cue, Miami’s defense goes in the shitter. That OSU TD was too easy. Now we need Beck not to do something stupid here.

Da U, got after it tonight. They were resilient down the stretch. The layoff really hurt OSU. Teams are now 0-5 coming off byes. Look out Indiana

I know teams coming off byes suck but I really like Texas Tech because I think Oregon is a fraud. Time and time again this team has shown to be soft and get bullied when it really matters.

I really like TT too but that layoff may hurt. I think imaging to wait for a half time or live bet.

I don’t think IU broke OSU. OSU had to replace a ton of guys from last season and Sayin was basically a freshman. He missed a bunch of throws.

I’m heavily favoring Bama… 7.5 points is too many. How many huge games have Indy players been in? Bama players have been in a bunch. Plus the long layoff will hurt Indy. Bama found their groove late vs OU. Down 17 points. The only thing preventing me hammering Bama is that Mendoza is the better QB. What quality wins did Indy have outside the B10? How many top teams did they play? Bama is much more battle tested.

Oregon had basically a tune up scrimmage. That’s a huge advantage. I do think they are softer up front but they’ll have an edge by being playing that early game at home. Teams with buys are actually penalized in this format. It’s dumb.

Problem is...SEC is not as good as Big 10 at top. IU has been so underlooked all season. No way would IU get down 17 to Oklahoma. And if IU gets up 17 it's game over. Bama living on fumes. Never thought I'd say this but Indiana will smack Bama by double digits. Doesn't matter about rosters or recruiting. IU has all that covered via transfer portal and coaching.

What proof do you have that the top of the B10 is better than the SEC? Who have they played outside of their conference? OSU just got whupped in the trenches on both sides of the ball. I don’t look at being down by 17 as much as being able to come back being down 17.

OSU just got whupped in the trenches on both sides of the ball. I don’t look at being down by 17 as much as being able to come back being down 17.

This is Indy’s first rodeo on this stage. Are they ready for this moment? Their Super Bowl was beating tOSU. Plus Heisman jinx? I’m just not seeing it.
Oh and OSU got exposed again.... no worries

Solid win by IU, especially after the long layoff. Cignetti and Mendoza are very good. Let’s see how they do vs Oregon again.
