Last night, I bet $400 on the Blues in hockey. I watch the game and get annoyed they lost. I have a beer....go to bed. Today I look at my account and the total is the same as yesterday. I look at my history......I never put the bet in. I thought I did, but forgot to do it.

Would be an even better story if you faded them instead and ACCIDENTALLY won.

Bet with caution... and Happy New Year!

Sounds like a 400 win to me!

I had Eagles +3 v Bills yesterday and late in the game my dementia brain was thinking I had -3 and had lost. Until a friend who knew what I had bet asked me why I was whining about losing when i hadn't.

        Free Roll!!!!!

Did that once. Some alcohol, but mostly work and basically single parent. Thought I won and then had to listen to taped conversation of my mistake. $1400 turnaround (1990's). OUCH!!!

Used to be able to multi-task 3 things easily, then slowly became 2, Now I need to keep to 1 and keep close notes. LOL.

Similar boat here. Don't get old. LOL.

Good story OPTI ... Was new to FLA early 80's. Got invited via my FLA connection to a SB party. Like 24 people. Money was paper to me back then. High end group (Brokers etc), at least to me. Liquor and food to spare. Squares QTR was like $250. Marcus Allen?? goes like 84 yards on the last play of the 3rd Qtr to break my cover. I scream "Who the FK was lucky enough to cover that". Quickly find hole to hide ... I also had the other square.

I've done some embarrassing things over the years but that's up there.
