    (NFL) NFC South tie-breaker
If I have my facts right, Bucs have the inside track on the looming tie-breaker possibility:
*If they tie with same record, would be 1-1 H2H...and each team would be 3-3 in Division.
    *Go to Common Game record:
As of Week 16, 2025, the Carolina Panthers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers have a close history, with the Panthers leading the all-time series, but recent common game records highlight their intense divisional fight, where the
Bucs held an edge in common games (4-3) compared to Carolina's (3-4) heading into their Week 17/18 matchups, crucial for NFC South tiebreakers.
...I believe the Bucs would nose out CAROL. (But it's sort of a lame tie-breaker).
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Hey Chuck one wrinkle in the mix. I read today that if ATL wins it's last 2 or loses both (not sure but I think it was wins last 2) then CAR wins the tiebreaker. Research if interested.

EZ, that's good intel. Thank You! And ATL is winning tonite (atm).

I've thought for a while that some of the Tie-breakers are lame. Not as bad as the ACC Tie-breaker rule, but still pretty lame.

I'd offer up my own Goat-approved Tie-breaker. I think it's logical to go:
        1) Overall Record.
        2) Divisional Record.
        3) H2H Record.

...After that, you're drilling down very deep. I'd prefer to go with: Which team had a win LATEST in the season?

Perhaps the craziest playoff scenario the NFC South could have experienced might come to pass this weekend. The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have lost seven of their la

Props to EZ. I may not have picked up on that.

Strange tie-breaker rules. We'll see if it plays out on game-day.

The way Bucs have been playing, I hope they get in and are near-pick'em in Wild Card game. Fading them would my my fav bet of the season

they would be playing one of the NFC west teams. Got to figure they are getting at least 5 to 6 points at worst. IMO.

pick em won't happen unless Rams lose by 15 and bucs win by 15 and look a lot better than they have recently

*This is pretty lame. NFL Tie-breakers have always been tricky and math-oriented.

...I really wouldn't mind a Tie-breaker of: *Which team has a Win latest in season. Start w/ Wk18 and work backwards.
...Under that rule, ATL would be Win-and-In today.

                        Yes, Malik:
                        1) It's a gross way to get in.
                        2) I have to question the Tie-breaker rule a little. Has to be a better way.
                        3) Bucs only have themselves to blame. Very poor in L10 games of year.

Rams favored by 10, after having to battle pretty hard in the last game. I've bet Panthers+10 already and will add more during the week. Just in case this is the Cinderella story of Millenium, getting in like this and then winning it all
