1) Hey, Dollars.
2) Pretty quiet. A few contests, but traffic is down.
3) Lower traffic is not necessarily a bad thing. The board content isn't overloaded. Less noise (if you will), so some good content.

As some of you know, I was a degen here for years....and then I had two beautiful little girls. Well, those girls at 8 and 10 now. Not quite old enough to not be a pain in the arse, but old enough to let dad spend the time he needs to cap. For the first time in 7-8 years, I'm back, betting and crushing. I don't pretend to win it all, but I'm watching more NFL, MLB and NHL this year than I watched in the previous 7-8 years combined. My best sport (the NBA) lost me with their virtue signalling....but who knows, maybe I'll even get back into it eventually.

While I won't be degen posting, posting dozens of picks a week, I will probably drop a 'big pick' now and then....but more than anything, I'm ready to get chatting again....and ready to get my 5dimes account lubed up, so I can tune those biotches painlessly.

D2D, have a Q for you since you mentioned NBA:
1) I'll go back in history here. I'm going to say that the Bill Walton injury in 1978 changed the course of the following championships.
2) Blazers won in 1977. They were ROLLING in the 1977-78 season. 50-12 before Walton suffered the first injury (of many). Blazers were going to repeat. And their young nucleus was ready to roll off a string.
3) Walton claimed that he got inadequate medical treatment in Portland. Wash/SEA won next two, then Bird/Magic came into the league.

All that said above, I'm putting this OKC roster in a historical context. They won in 2025, they look to be way ahead of the pack this year. If they win in 2026, what are we looking at?
...Such a young nucleus. Guys coming into their prime, and they seem to be good guys.
...Eventually you run into contracts and salary caps. We'll see which guy departs.
...These guys might like playing together and decide to stick together. If so, look out. We may be looking at OKC holding a monopoly on banners.

Great post....they could, BUT, egos typically win out. How long until they want the limelight? I think we all know it's Jalen Williams.....two years from now, I'm guessing he's gonna be the guy.

Ok, I know you said traffic is down....but this seems almost weird. Or do I do something to somebody's momma on the way out?
