Such garbage. This is what you have to do to get the players to care about the games in the regular season??

It is what it is, an NBA novelty gimmick that never gained any traction.

Somebody must have planted in Mr. Silver's ear some four years ago that having a tournament within the regular season is a good idea, and how it would generate beaucoup money, yadda, yadda, yadda.

Let's cancel the regular season and have 120 2-day tournaments instead.

It was, however, that most fans will forget about it in a year.

I would estimate that maybe 10 percent of all NBA fans care about this tournament.

One of the many reasons why I gave up on the NBA. College has hundreds of teams - I'll make do with that.
