(NFL) Who gets your vote for Coach-of-the-Year?
    The obvious candidates:
CAROL (Canales): I honestly thought they were toast w/ QB Young. Has them in position to make the Playoffs.

CHI (Ben Johnson): Didn't think he could do it w/ this QB. Certainly not in first year.

DEN (Payton): I know he's well-regarded. He's flipped the division on the Chefs.

LA RAMS (McVay): Look of a title threat. Playing to Stafford's strengths.

NEW ENG (Vrabel): Amazing that he could turn it around this quickly. Chance to sweep the division.

    *Anybody I missed?
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Chucky, I'd also throw Macdonald's name into the hat. Also, if the Cowboys make the playoffs I think you have to throw Schottenheimer in there too.

I'd have to go with Vrabel or maybe Johnson at the moment.

If the Patriots do well against Buf, Bal, and Cin I think Vrabel walks away with it.

*I think so, Ian. Talk about a quick reversal.
...The Patriots actually have a chance to ELIMINATE Buff/Balt. And if not "eliminate", then put them on the brink.
...Mentioned above that Patriots are in great spot to go 6-0 in Division for the clean sweep.
...I like Vrabel. But I also think he's taking full advantage of the situation. Patriots were 4th/4 in AFC East last year. So, their 2025 schedule has been much more foregiving than teams like Buf/Balt/KC.

              Good stuff, stackz. Happy Holidays:

              1) Feel like Vrabel may have just cemented Coach-of-the-Year.
              2) Huge win for Maye. Stafford's had a great year, but his candidacy was hurt by the loss at SEA.

Gonna make a very oddball comment: *Drake Maye sounds A LOT like Josh Allen:
                1) His vocal tones are very similar. If you listen blind, they're nearly indistinguishable.
                2) And you hear the same respect from teammates. I'll tell you one thing about football teammates in a locker-room. When the face of the team takes hits and battles thru it, goes a long way in earning the respect of your teammates.

Here's my list. This is a REG SEA award. Just my opinion:
                  1) NE (Vrabel): Turned it around in one year. He'll be employed for 10+ years.
                  2) CHI (BJohnson): Was worth 3+ wins. Just based on preparation.
                  3) JAX (Coen): Jags had been a ?-mark. They win the Division.
                  4) SEA (McDonald): They navigated long travel. Win a very tough Division.
                  5) VEG (Carroll): He earned it, as an oil-tanker. May merit back-pay if Mendoza becomes Pro Bowler.

Honorable mention: DEN (Payton), CAROL (Canales)*.
*I would have listed Canales if the Panthers had not won the Division via Tie-breaker technicality.

i would vote coen or johnson they’re running the offense. coen’s duval schtick is lame. ben johnson’s tough guy approach seems genuine. vrabel is a leader of men but i’m unsure how much he adds to the defense
