    RIP Steve.

He could pick 'em with the best of them.
I loved everything he did; he was legendary and an all-time great.

One of the guitar heavyweights - back in days of vinyl records I cannot recall how many times I saw his name on the back of an album jacket. He could play with anyone. Very cool to see the Creedence boys getting into it on second video.

Did you see the five-part Stax Records documentary on HBO and Max?
It was brilliant; it held my attention every second.
