I see that line flipped. Was wondering why. Now I see:

      1) Are Jets tanking to get top-pick?
      2) Where does that leave HC Glenn? Owner already picking another HC?
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

NYJ could have Drafted Josh Allen and they did not. They had the opportunity to draft Brock Bowers as well. And they passed. They better make good choices with these picks or their Futility will endure. I support the trades as time to rebuild. Hope they get the #1 pick next year and a QB to build around. See what happens.

If the Jets are tanking who are they tanking for? Is Ty Simpson really that good? I can understand why a bad team would sell at the trade deadline, but I can see this blowing up in their faces. IDK about 2027, but this years draft class seems weak to me.

            Jets gonna Jets.

Good point, IAN. SOMETIMES you see an all-time prospect like Elway or Peyton Manning. Is Ward doing anything for TENN?

In this draft class they WERE talking of Allar or Arch Manning going 1st overall! LOL, Allar might be lucky to get drafted. And Arch might get beat out for 1st-string if he goes back to Texas next year.

I feel like the Jets did very well yesterday and now have all kinds of draft capital the next 2 drafts. Sure they usually suck at drafting but they have a lot of ammunition now to try and get their QB.

I think both Gardner and Williams are overhyped because they played in NY. Sure they are good players but are they franchise cornerstones? I'm not convinced of that. Not to mention the fact that the team and defense were not good with them, so why not move on and reset with some younger players that are controllable salary wise? They also freed up a lot of money shedding these 2 guys with the salary cap.

We'll see. This does stink of classic Jets:
*When the Jets actually TRY to lose, they might not be able to do it.

They have 2 first round picks and 2 second rounders in 2026 and 3 1st rounders in 2027.

                            That's a fair assessment.

Sauce is better than most, but he's not the best in the business; he's not in the same league as Ronde Barber or Charles Woodson was, but considering the one thing Indy needs to make a deep playoff run is a good CB, Sauce fills that need.

Not only that, Indy gets a little RB insurance in the deal, just in case (God forbid) Jonathan Taylor should go down.

I was reading that Indy has seen enough out of Danny (Dollars) Jones, that they're going to extend him in the offseason, which is why they gave up the first-round picks; they don't need to focus on a QB in the near future. I may be the biggest Daniel Jones fanboy on these here boards, but even I realize that he can't keep putting up Joe Montana-type numbers; it's just not sustainable.

I was also reading that Breece Hall is thrilled that he wasn't moved.
                            How sad is that?

Jets asked Joe Namath to come back for Sunday's game:

Joe expected that it was to honor him and his SB 3 teammates. No, he'll be starting on Sunday. At age 82.

They have had picks in the past. They just had good players. Teams will not get past the owner if they are hands on. Might be only a few teams that don't have to deal with that.
