No im not a fan of any singular team, i root for points.

cowboys put up 20 against the eagles and almost won the game. That’s impressive in my book, especially against a team that is arguably the best team right now.

I left the commanders out, they might take the cowboys spot. Commanders are good but I think they take an L tomorrow. (I don’t like to put too much weight into Thursday games).

We shall see, right now I like the cowboys to score more than the commanders.

This might finally be the year that the Chiefs regress. They are aging and not many players strike fear into the opponent anymore other than Mahomes. Kelce and Jones are still good but not really dominant anymore. Does anyone on either side of the ball really scare opponents anymore? Maybe Worthy when healthy because of his speed? Karlaftis, McDuffie and some others are very good players but I do not think opponents game plan specifically for them.

Hi, Jake. I've pointed this out in my notes. I am anti-Chefs in 2025:
1) Kelce's #s are way down. His YPC is down 20% from peak.

Chucky, truth be told, I have been predicting this for a couple of years now and have ended up with egg on my face. However, the rest of the division has narrowed the gap and the even the Raiders are a halfway decent outfit now and are not a pushover. Mahomes still gets it done in key moments more often than not but the supporting cast leaves something to be desired in terms of explosive plays(especially on offense). The offense is probably going to look pretty rough until Rice comes back from suspension and he might inject some life into it. The defense is still very good but Jones, whilst still a very good player, is not really the game wrecker he used to be.

My brother in law's brother was in town a couple of weeks ago for my neice's birthday and he is a massive Chiefs fan. We ended up making a wager on the AFC West. He took the Chiefs and I took the field. I jokingly told him that I would probably be sending him his money in week 12 when KC clinches the division. The Chargers beating KC put me in the driver' seat for now. Hoping the Eagles beat KC this weekend obviously.

If the Brownies play a clean game, the Ravens, who must be both tired and dinged up, might be ripe for an upset.

1) That Bengals loss has to sting. Statistically impossible to lose that game.
2) You don't know how much I want the Browns to win the Division.

I mentioned this in my Steeler writeup. Tomlin must be living right. Over the last decade he's like +20 wins over what he deserves.

Ravens Henry rushed for 21 yards. Him and Lamar had 43 yards total AND THE BROWNS STILL FOUND A WAY TO GET BLOWN OUT. These mofos just find ridiculous ways to lose games. Unfukkingreal.

1) Special Teams disaster, man. DALL K makes a 64-yarder. Browns (in two weeks): Miss XP, Miss gw-FG, and Blocked Punt.
2) I saw a hunger on the Defense. These guys came to play. Their DEF stats thru two games are excellent.
3) Is a QB change imminent? I can't believe Gabriel can't beat out Flacco.

Lastly, there was one play late in the 1h that I didn't like. Browns stuffed the 3rd down, but Ravens picked up a penalty. Stefanski declined the penalty, I didn't like it. Make the Ravens take another snap inside the 10. They won't convert it.
...With this offense, the BROWN defense is their best unit.
...Can't complete a 70-yard drive. Make it a 50-yard drive.

Yeah, I get where you’re coming from. They don’t feel as loaded with star power as past years, but as long as Mahomes is there, it’s hard to count them out. He makes everyone around him better.

Of course and they should get a boost with Worthy and Rice coming back but this is going to be an uphill battle for them and the division games are not easy wins anymore.

A lot of Cleveland fans love Stefanski. They blame the owner and GM. I think it’s all about coaching, which he’s responsible for. Bubba Ventrone the special teams coach is awful. He should have been fired last season. Stefanski’s offense is the worse in the league. Get this. The Browns have not scored more than 17 points in the last 7 games. Are you fukking kidding me? Stefanski is 3-17 in the last 20. They are the most penalized and have the most turnovers. That’s coaching.

Personally think Phi hasn't played good enough to be top 2 right now. Doubt they are favored in matchups vs Bills or Ravens by the books. I think GB can beat them based on what I've seen so far. Detroit is overrated. Reminds me of the Sooners in CFB. Scores a lot of pts vs bad teams, then can't score vs a good defense. I think they get beat by Packers, and we will get to see it twice.

Rams are the only team that could beat PHI in playoffs last year, and I think they have what it takes to beat em this year. I like Mayfield, but I don't think they can win vs elite teams like BAL/BUF/PHI/GB. Those 4 teams are in a league of their own, and LAC might be in that group with them.

True, the division’s definitely tougher now. Getting Worthy and Rice back will help, but it won’t be the cakewalk it used to be.
