New SBR infraction added for bullying and anti-gay remarks

Not exactly a 1st ammendment thing tat, but a bit inconsistent yes. Interesting to see SBR try to address something as subjective as bullying, which is basically a catch-all for people's feelings being hurt, regardless of what's said. I guess it's just their way of saying "if you interact with another poster at all, they can report you"

Is saying you suck at it calling me gay? Is that in turn bullying me for being gay? Pretty ambiguous...I guess the only certain thing is that if I cry about it, you'd get an infraction. Remains to see how it'll be implemented, but it's hard to see how it could be taken seriously without pretty much chasing away most of the quality here

Don't know how they plan on implementing this specifically, but in the past, pointing out facts has been labeled "harrassment" with infractions hand out...even quoting that person could be an infractionable offense if they're offended by their own words.

Only surefire way to avoid this is to avoid talking with crybabies (although they can be hard to spot sometimes). To their credit, SBR does a good job of giving you warnings first so you know to avoid these people. Maybe they'll put up a "we feel bullied" list of posters who can't be posted about?

In the end though, if you make a post about anything, someone can interpret it anyway they want and try to report you..."anti-bullying" just formalizes the process I guess.
