#182I'm guessing he laid more than a couple dimes. But yeah, counter limits will move the spread 1/2 point usually. However once it moves, you are able to hit it for the limit again usually...Originally posted by pavyracerYou guys think a single person betting several dimes in Vegas on a Sunday morning will move the lines?

#184He never had to fly to Vegas before and his spreadsheet suggests that 25,000 wagers are common place. Probably laid anywhere's from 50,000 to 100,000 on each play.

#200I just spoke with Mike in vegas and I can assure you that his big play did cash today. I won't reveal it as I will let him do that. He said that the total winnings put him up just under $150K. As he originally mentioned, he had two big wagers. Because he won so much today on the one big play and several other plays, he is scaling it back on his 2nd big play. He wanted me to let everyone know that he is playing the Steelers moneyline for a smaller than anticipated play. He does not want to give all of his winnings back so it will be a much smaller play than he originally anticipated. I can assure you that he is being treated like a king at the golden nugget. I was with him at the bash and he was treated like a king then as well. As IntheHold mentioned earlier, Mike is a very respectable guy and very generous. Go Steelers!!Comment -
