Hello All,

I've just recently got into online sports betting, and just came across this board. I did some more research on sportsbook.com and betus.com after reading all of this, and there seems to be so many problems with these sites. I just recently submitted all of the necessary forms for both of these sites and have requested payouts. I made the request about a week ago, and plan to go elsewhere. I will keep you guys updated as well.

Has anyone had problems starting their *********** account? I was told I have to deposit with them first to then receive withdrawals from sportsbook.com yet everytime I try and register one of my 3 credit/debit cards I get denied instantly! Can someone please give me some feedback?

took about 5 weeks from the request. a bit slow but i guess it's better than these other stories about not getting the payout at all.

Don't Deal with These Guys

Well, here's my very quick story about Sports.com which is a related site. I requested two withdrawals:

The first withdrawal was for $100 on October 2nd, 2008. The second withdrawal was for $51.02 on December 31, 2008 (this withdrawal was to clear my account because I had waited so long on the first one).

They paid and processed by second withdrawal on January 11, 2009 - in fact I received a $51.02 check today via FedEx. I was very puzzled by this - they processed the one withdrawal in just over one week (wow that was fast!) but they are taking three months to process the $100 check? What the *bleep* is going on here?

So the funny thing is that they processed my second withdrawal, and at 1:39 PM they sent me this message:

"We refer to your account and are pleased to provide you with the tracking number for your withdrawal requested on 12/31/2008 for $51.02.

FedEx Tracking Number ****.

If you have any questions regarding this or any other matter do not hesitate to contact us."

Even though, of course, I already had the check in my hands, but at 6:10 PM, just under five hours later, they sent me this message:

"Dear David,

We refer to your withdrawal requested on 10/2/2008 for $100 and regret to advise that this has had to be cancelled because your account is currently under audit and we need you to resolve this as soon as possible.

We regret and apologize for the inconvenience caused by this action."

I wanted to break out laughing when I saw that. Under audit? Must resolve? Must resolve WHAT? And wouldn't you have CONDUCTED this audit BEFORE you sent me ANY checks? Do they really think I am THIS STUPID?

All I did was gamble at the casino (and win quite decently) and bet on some hockey, football, and the MLB playoffs. All I do are straight up wagers and the odd spread. Nothing fancy.

These guys make me laugh. Unfortunately for me, I wouldn't mind that $100 right now (I'm not desperate for it, but obviously $100 would be nice to anyone).

Is there anyway I'm misreading this, or are they really just using a very lame excuse to not pay me?

Not too sure on what the process is but I kept getting the generic "please be patient blah blah blah...it usually takes 4-8 weeks to process .. blah blah blah". I asked for updates every week by logging onto their Live Help Chat. I'm not sure if this factored into anything, but I had read on here somewhere about bribing them with "referrals", so I gave that a shot. I told the customer support rep. that I had a few friends that wanted to get into online sports betting and that I wanted to refer them to sportsbook.com, but would wait until I got my payout first. About a week anf a half later, I received my payout.

Well I logged in and talked with some guy using live chat. He stated that the "issue" had been resolved and that I could re-request my withdrawal. I asked if I would have to wait in the standard queue or if I could have it rushed since the wait had been 3+ months. He waited for like 2 minutes and then wrote back that he had asked for it to be expedited.

I personally think Sports.com just used the "issue" as a stall tactic. I find it funny that the withdrawal amount about equal to my original deposit ($50) goes through no problem, but the withdrawal of profit ($100) had this odd issue that was never fully explained.

My advice would be to avoid this book - even for small amounts. I may change my mind if they process this current withdrawal quickly but for now IMHO stay away.

Why anyone still has their money in sportsbook or their sister sites is beyond me. Seriously... just sign up for one of the A rated books, Bookmaker, 5dimes and never worry again. Simple logic.

my check bounced a month ago. i told them that and send them the copy of my check. today they sent me a message saying that my check was actually cashed...wtf

i emailed them and asked them to provide me with the name who cashed the check, the date and the bank name where the check was cashed.

Im sitting back reading this and just wanted to through in my 2 cents. I too have been screwed on payouts by sportsbook.com.......after months of fighting I got paid, but eventually ended up taking my money to the sportsbook over on Bodog. http://sports.bodoglife.com/

I have got 3 this week all for 2460.00.
They have paid me 19k since last month and still owe me 5k that the site says was just processed.
I have received checks from everywhere. canada, england, and several different states. so far no holds and no bounces... from all the bad stories on here I feel like i hit the lotto being so fortunate to get actually get paid.
A few more weeks and I will feel comfortable about spending it.

maybe i should go withdraw it all and open a new account...hmmm!

My check from sportsbook.com has bounced for insufficient funds. They have the absolute WORST customer service staff ever assembled. It takes about 4-6 weeks to get paid, but GOOD luck getting it cashed and even better luck getting the issue resolved. THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I submitted my withdrawal from sportsbook.com on 12/14. It was listed as processed on 1/16. I got the check two days ago, and just deposited. Now crossing fingers it doesn't bounce.

Submitted a 2nd withdrawal 12/16 and that has just processed and got a FedEx tracking number that may have arrived today.

Will update on that arriving and checks cashing.

I used sportsbook for a few bets but mainly played poker there
i withdrew all funds once i discovered how slow they where to pay.
I then opened a account with cakepoker which I made a withdraw on the 21 jan it hit my ewalletexpress account the next day and
they say it should take 5-10 business days to post. The only drawback it they charge a 10% rat fee up to 150.00.

I'll post back once I feel some cash.
