Worthy won't be charged after arrest

Turns out Worthy is the victim not the villain.

                    March 8, 2025
Worthy will not be charged following his Friday arrest in Williamson County, Texas, Tyler Davis of the Austin American-Statesman reports.

                    ANALYSIS
Worthy was booked for assault against a family or household member by impeding their breathing or circulation, which is a third-degree felony, but after authorities spoke with witnesses, the district attorney is not accepting the case at this time. Worthy's lawyers indicated it was an attempt at extortion by Worthy's accuser. It sounds like Worthy should avoid any sort of discipline from the NFL.

I don’t know this story but after the Duke Lacrosse fiasco, I am always skeptical when I hear these reports. I need to see clear proof because too much money for gold diggers to make. We really need to put lying accusers under the jail. There is nothing worse than being wrongly accused.

100% agree Mac. Lying accusers should be put away. Hell- they should have to serve the time the accused were going to get. Wrecking people’s lives and livelihoods intentionally is sick.

Yep, I remember that story. It is so sad. Who knows what he might have become. The sick part is that this was a ‘he say, she say’. There was ZERO evidence. People just assume women are right/telling the truth. Sickening.

A False Accusation and an Impossible Choice

Although there was no DNA found on the accuser or her clothing, no eye-witness testimony, and no other evidence to support Gibson’s claims, Brian was arrested for the crime. After months of awaiting trial, Banks was urged to take a plea deal by his lawyer, who believed that he would be unable to win his case in court. At just 17-years-old, Brian was being tried as an adult. He faced an impossible decision – either fight the charges against him and risk spending 41 years-to-life in prison, or accept a plea deal for a shorter sentence, and serve time in prison for a crime he did not commit.
Out of fear and pressure from his lawyer, Brian pleaded no contest to the charges and was sentenced to a decade of prison and probation. Brian went to prison on his 18th birthday, marking the first day of what would be a long and challenging five-year prison sentence.

University of Florida had a provision where female student would get automatic A’s for all there classes the semester they are victim of rape. I know a guy that was falsely accused by his mentally unstable girlfriend. He was laying in their bed, asleep, naked when the police arrested him. No signs of physical abuse, but obvious signs of sex because they had sex that night. He fled the US and never came back out of fear. He was looking at life in prison for sleeping with his GF.

Everyone should watch the 30 for 30 on the Duke Lacrosse team. The entire world came down on them. Everyone said they were guilty. One mentally ill girl destroyed the Duke players and program. It’s infuriating…

If you are famous or have money, you MUST have cameras, including a body cam. Your life, freedom and finances depend on it.

These two guys would still be in jail if he didn’t have a camera.

A black man accused of raping his white neighbor and filed a lawsuit claiming his home security cameras prove his innocence - and cops refused to look at it.

Mike Tyson never raped Desiree Washington. He ended up in jail during his best years anyway.

Of course you knew that. When are these atletes ever guilty.
