    Mathematical Formula for Totals
Eight step formula to derive a Mathematical Total.

    Tuesday March 4

    South Carolina Over 138 (150.64)
    Northern Kentucky Over 140.5 (151.29)
    Oakland Over 146.5 (157.10)
    Lafayette Over 137.5 (146.15)
    Binghamton Over 139 (144.66)
    Toledo Under 164 (153.91)
    Western Michigan Over 146 (154.22)
    Vermont Over 133 (145.91)
    Buffalo Under 154.5 (148.85)
    Seton Hall Over 133.5 (139.22)
    Virginia Tech Over 149 (154.36)
    UTSA Under 158 (151.54)
    Georgetown Over 142 (147.04)
    Miss St Over 152 (157.88)
    Virginia Over 137.5 (149.64)

    Orlando Over 207.5 (213.65)
    Atlanta Under 242 (236.20)
    Minnesota Over 219.5 (226.84)
    Spurs Under 229 (222.32)
    Lakers Under 228 (221.19)

Grade all to win 1 unit ($100) at (-110) odds

The Formula is an 8 step sequence that is very current. It means little what these teams did months ago.

Formula is designed to set a better Mathematical Total and not a perceived Total.

My Mathematical Total is listed in the parenthesis.

The Plus Plays went (11-15) (+0.45 units).

Didn't lose money but wasn't exactly what I wanted. I might bring them back for baseball.

I'm working with something now for the college basketball tournaments as well as the remainder of the NBA season. It's high volume, so I'd love to hit 55%.

I'll get Wednesdays selections up this afternoon. I'm retired and travel often, I'll drop in every now and then.

In the past I've ran a version of this Mathematical Formula for Totals and it hit at a rate of (54.80%) Winners over a large number of plays. Before you scoff, that's actually quite good, considering the volume it produced.

I revised the Formula by reducing the season long statistics to a mere 15% of the Formula. Year long numbers count, just not that much. I wanted this Formula to be as current as possible.

Can I set a better Mathematical Total than the books. Absolutely NOT. However it's my belief that the books do not always put out the best Mathematical Total. They often put out what I call a Percieved Total. A number to draw more even action on both sides. Not always but often.

            There in lies the EDGE.

I'll get today's card out between (3-4) pm cst. You can check back if interested.

May let fate decide whether to do these tonight.

                    One day game Thursday

                    Illinois St Over 131.5 (141.98)

If it wins, I'll continue on. If it loses, I'll keep the small profits and move on. College basketball is almost over and it's quite a bit of work.

Let fate decide the direction for tonight.

Math, you're doing a great job. It's hard to win. And it's REALLY hard to win on Volume.

I've ran a version of this Formula in the past, it usually hits around 54.80%, just under 55%.

I made this version to be the most current as I could possibly get it. It's my hope to maintain 55% Winners on this extreme volume.

I'll definitely run I today. I usually like to see a minimum 200 Plays. With 200 Plays, u won't know if it's going to be a longterm success but u may know if it's a pile of crap.

I'll get the day games up soon. All small ($110 to win $100) wagers.

Math, I hear you. My recommendation: *If it's running good, go to at least 400 plays.

...When you do the Variance calculation, Var on 400 plays is solid. If you get to 220-180 or better, you're very likely to be +EV. Hard to get lucky on a sample size of 400+.

Agree but we don't have alot left in college basketball. My attention is turning to baseball soon.

I'll play the Math Totals as long as they are profitable, probably not a day longer.

I am a baseball nerd (historian). I remember George (Sparky) Anderson very well.

We have a ton of cbb games left, let's see how this Formula does. Great time of year.

I've got 5 day games pending, going to play and post the night stuff (3-4) pm cst. Check it out.

Saw the Big Red Machine several times as a youngster. I remember exactly where I was at when Gene Garber put the final nail in Pete Roses 44 game hit streak. There is nothing like a hit streak. We haven't seen one in a long time of any length.

I also remember Sparky managing the 1984 Detroit Tigers, they started the season (35-5) and went on to win the World Series that year.
