I like Kuzma. The Bucks are a good team for him to be on. He doesn’t have to carry the load and can be a good role player.

Didn't play anything on FRI. But I see how hard it is to come back after an absence. A lot to digest.

Yeah. Listened to part of the game. The Buck veterans must have felt very out-of-sorts to be playing AGAINST Middleton.

Confusion on both teams…
WASHINGTON (AP) — Kyle Kuzma’s return to Washington led to a confusing moment with a couple of former teammates.
“One time in the first quarter, it might have been Alex (Sarr), he might have blocked a shot. Bilal (Coulibaly) came over to dap him up,” Kuzma said. “Then I dapped up Bilal, just by instinct. It was weird.”
Kuzma returned to Washington as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks, and he scored 19 points in their 104-101 victory over Sarr, Coulibaly and the Wizards on Friday night. Kuzma was traded from Washington to Milwaukee earlier this month, with Khris Middleton going to Washington in the deal.
Middleton missed a last-second 3-pointer that would have tied it in his debut for the Wizards. “Definitely a lot going on these last couple weeks,” Middleton said. “It’s a little strange and coincidental how this is my first game here with the Wizards — against the Bucks.
Kuzma’s departure from Washington was so recent he said the return this week gave him a chance to sleep in his own bed. He spent 3 1/2 seasons with the Wizards and looks back fondly on his tenure with them.
“I wouldn’t trade this experience and being here and being a Wizard for anything,” Kuzma said. “I think it was a great time for me, a time of growth, a time of figuring out who I am as a person.”

*DALL: has three big-men Out. On principle, I would look @CHA.
...And I know that logic doesn't always mean much in the NBA.

These wound up 1-0 ATS (w/ one push).
For FRI, I like BOSTON -2.5.
...Reason is pretty obvious. I don't think the Celts can catch CLE for the 1-seed.
...But it's a mental game. Celts will want the Cavs to know that they have to come thru Boston.
...Celts have been coasting all season. Haven't been excited for too many games...but I think they'll be up for this one.

One opinion I'll put in here: *I think the Lakers are WAY over-rated.
I know they're on a recent good run. The media LOVES this concept of a 2nd star in Luka.
The West is going to be tough to navigate this year. The media will push the Lakers too hard.
I'm seeing prices of Lakers to win the West @ +500. That means that the anti-Lakers would be somewhere around 1.17.
I think this is quite good. If I could take the Field (vs Lakers) @ 1.18 or 1.20, I would feel very good about that investment.

I agree with you Chucky BUT I can’t bet against a healthy LeBron and Luka in the playoffs. The Lakers impressed me the last couple of weeks. Their defense looks better without AD. Who can stop Luka? LeBron and Luka are more experienced than the other teams in the West, especially OKC. I think you take the field if you feel LeBron and Luka won’t be healthy. I think that’s a good bet but if they are healthy, all bets are off.

Mac, I respectfully disagree. I view a market from a Perception versus Reality perspective:
1) Lakers are a big-name franchise. They have had a lot of historical success across decades.
2) Doesn't mean they're going to be successful every year.
3) Aging star (LJ) + Overrated star (LD) + Rookie HC (JJR).
No way I'd have any faith in the Lakers. If their Win West odds are set @ 17%, I say that's virtually 2x too high. True odds are no higher than 10%. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.

I agree they’re overrated. Too many people bet with their hearts and haven’t even seen them play. The odds are way too high, I agree.
BUT, if, and it’s a big if, they played OKC in a game 7, would you still take OKC? I trust LeBron and Luka, more than a young inexperienced Thunder team, including their coach. Luka killed them last year.
I think the Lakers match up well against every team in the West but Denver. But now with Luka. They might be able to get over the hump.
The big question in the playoffs is who is healthy. LeBron is probably out a few weeks with that groin. That could linger in the playoffs. Lukas back will also be an issue.

Wow. I had no insight on that.
I waited too long to bet it. When I say AGING STAR, that's a guy who may decline. But his Injury risk also goes up.

If we only had a crystal ball. But who knows with LeBron. He might be back this week. So far he’s been a medical marvel.

The Lakers almost beat the Nuggets last night without 6 out of their 5 best players. Basically their Gleague team including Bronny and Reaves went down to the wire. Reddick and the Lakers have found a way to slow Jokić down. If the Lakers are healthy, the Nuggets don’t want to see them this year in the playoffs.
