They look better with Butler. It takes weeks for a new star to integrate with a new team. Butler gives them another option to Curry. Is it enough to win a title, no, I agree with you but they could upset somebody in a 1st round matchup.

I have no lean on this game. Rockets were in a mini slump but may have recovered the last couple of games. I would probably play the home team and the -7. Warriors star players are older on a back to back and traveling, so Rockets are the smart play to me. Should be a great game tonight. Can’t wait.

I was leaning Rockets because it is the 2nd of back to back road games but GS played in Dallas last night. Dallas to Houston is not even an hour flight in the same time zone but I guess it is still travel.

im so glad I got out of that bet at half. Easy choice. Houston traffic is so horrible. It took 1.7 hours to get to the parking garage. I had a separate suite that they didn’t have food or drinks because of some issue. I should have stayed home. They want to sell me some upcoming playoff packages. Hell the Rockets might not make the playoffs playing like this. Haha. These games are becoming a hard sell. I can stay at home with all the food and drinks you’d ever want.

Warriors are just missing that Euro guy of size & skill that they had in prior championship runs. They'll be better when Kuminga returns, but with a lineup of Butler/ Kuminga/ Green logging major mins in the big games (maybe Payton at the 2 even) that's a poor shooting team.

Markkanen would have been a much better fit that Kuminga but I guess they didn't have enough to push the trade through.

Lakers are the better dark horse imo. That 3-prongued attack of Doncic/ James/ Reaves is going to be really good! Good complimentary pieces also (DFS, Hachimura/ Knecht). Normally when a team makes a trade of such magnitude they're depleted.

I kinda think the Lakers and Warriors are the only 2 teams that can beat OKC in the West. You can’t discount their experience. I think Denver can beat anyone in the West but OKC. NBA is all about matchups.
