Orlando Magic vs Portland TBlazers O/U 212.5 - What's the catch?
    Last 2 games Orlando scored:
    119
    121
    (avg 120)

    Last 2 games Portland scored:
    125
    108
    (avg 116.5)

    Together it comes to 236.5

Last 7 games Portland scored over 100 pts as well.

Why is the line so "low" 212.5 ?

I know they played against each other just a week ago and it ended 101 - 79 (180 pts) but still - why it so low? Where is the catch?

Or what do you think about these figures?

I am not betting again - my soul left my body literally in the past 2-3 hours

This is what I wrote in my personal gambling diary:

        14:44pm CST
I had a credit of over $60 in SportsCapping so I used $20 of it to buy a pick from Stephen Nover

I had my mind on the under 212.5 here because the last 2 games ended way over, and I saw these 2 teams going under so many times this season.

        This is what Stpehen wrote:

I find this total too short given the current form of these two teams.

Orlando has recently gotten healthy. Because of that the Magic are producing more points. They are averaging 116 points in regulation during their past two games. This total is too low for the Magic with both Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner back playing. It's an added bonus if Jalen Suggs can go, too.

Portland just put up 125 points against the Bucks and 108 points versus the Thunder during its past two games, both at home. The Thunder are the No. 1 defensive team in the NBA, while the Bucks rank 10th defensively.

        Okay,

So given the fact the tip costs only $20 from my "experience" this tip is usually a sucker tip that makes people pay $20 plus a losing bet.

        I also checked his record:

        https://experts.winnersandwhiners.co.../picks?page=13

He has wins and losses, nothing is consistent

        For example

        This is a losing total

He did guess the last Orlando total nicely against the Heat over 207.5

However with Portland my expectation is for this game to go lower than 212.5

        Am I right? I don't know.

I am not so happy right now or in general about my gambling and I am so of "chasing" the losses yesterday

        2025 Balance right now: -$2174

Could be: -$3394 *round it to -$3400)

        Or not?

        I don't know

I placed the bet with Pinnacle intentionally so I won't be able to cancel this bet.

14:43pm now, waiting for 9pm and who knows what's until then and later ....

        Uffff

        Hate gambling

        23:23pm CST

        Live line 211.5

It was 218.5 - 220.5 at half time

        213.5 end of 3rd quarter.

They scored 7 pts within 40-45 seconds of 4th quarter and live line went up to 217.5

Now 211.5 with 3 minutes and about 40 seconds to go .... I have no clue what would happen.

        23:26pm

211.5 according to bet365 btw, I'm not watching, will check the score soon. Copy paste doesn't work well. Will post in another thread the rest.

          23:30pm CST

119-90 (209) with less than a minute to go

          23:33pm

          Ended with 209 pts.

          Now it's 23:43pm .... I'm feeling like a zombie.

Sorry for the loss. I got burned with Magic. 😡

I don’t know anything about Stephen Nover but I highly recommend not paying anyone for picks. Seriously, the best place for info is right here, SBR, and that includes yourself.

Your expectations were a lower total than 212.5. You should more often than not lean with your instincts. And Veri didn’t see any value in the total. Next time don’t pay anyone and go with your instincts. If you are still on the fence, then create a thread like this one and see what posters think. Unless there’s new info, then go with your instincts. Good luck!

              I didn't lose ....

209 is under 212.5 - I did win this bet.

I had a bonus balance there in SportsCapping which was laying down for over a year now or more, I am not sure, so I used it.

I agree paying for picks is stupid but if you pay for someone not just to post a pick but add some additional info it could help you.

I anyway went against this idiot just like I wrote above:
