Had a friend whose house was damaged due to the Paradise fire up in Northern California a few years ago. The house wasnāt livable but mainly the damage was due to smoke. The insurance refused to pay as they tried claiming the damage was from smoke and not fire. He eventually got paid but took months of lawyers and legal fees/bills before getting the insurance to pay up.Comment -

-My house is built by my own hands. If I ever have to hire someone to fix something I have blueprints, pictures, 3d drawings, very simple to figure out instructions. Have done this for every 32 square ft of house so it's a large file in the file cabinet.
