NO. The game day DJ decided to remove Kid Rock music from the playlist because of his politics. A weak ass move. People don’t go to these games to think about politics for even a minute. Kid Rock was also forced to close his restaurant at Little Caesars Arena in 2019 because of his liquored up rant about Oprah… he admitted he can be obnoxious but the usual suspects all came after him and accused him of being a racist, blah blah. The Illitch family forced him out along with a few “civil rights” local organizers and he’s basically been gone from Detroit since. Anyway- Eminem was in attendance and was shown on the big screen.

I have one observation, and you tell me if you think I'm wrong: *I expect the Detroit HFA to be REALLY STRONG this year.
...It's been a long-long time. You can see that the fans are hungry.
...Looks like they have the right team. As long as Goff doesn't get injured.
...I've seen this type of angle b4. Green Bay was on the precipice in 1996, weren't going to be denied @home.
It’s absolutely an advantage Chuck. Will not be easy to win there. It’s the loudest stadium I’ve ever been in and I’ve been to many championship level events. The stadium and fan base have a very distinct and purposeful energy about them. Anything can happen down the road but as I sat in the stadium with 3 of my best friends and 58k strangers, you can really feel the connection people have with the coach, team and each other.

It’s hard to describe the passion and hunger Lions fans have compared to fans from other cities. Everyone loves their team… but winning means more in a place like Detroit. If you are from here or grew up here you know it wasn’t that long ago when this place was left for dead and joked about.

Good stuff, mj. Yes, that's my viewpoint.

Only two more games. They only have to be the better team for two more games. I get the sense that the atmosphere will be insane.

I think the fans will carry them over the line. Hope the bye week helps them out.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

Yes, I understand they play in a dome. Was an inference to the cold 16-degree day, and the supposed incoming snowstorm on its way. Flying from a warm west region to cold northeast no thanks. Stuck in a hotel room for 4 days because a flight gets delayed... ugggg

I'm on the Lions wagon now. Been a long time since the days of Joe Schmidt.

I really think the Chefs are ripe this year. I don't see the BIG upset coming in their first game. I just think the long history of close wins over BUFF (or BALT) finally flips this season.

Nobody has won three straight Bowls. I don't think this Chef team is the one to do it. Their 15-1 start was very fortunate. Wear and tear from all the post-seasons finally adds up this year.

Chiefs are 100% going to lose to Baltimore or Buffalo this year. Baltimore imo gets in. I'm hoping Lions can beat Baltimore, but it's going to be TOUGH.
They will get a practice matchup vs The Eagles in the NFC championship imo.

I heard if you cross that bridge from Detroit to Canada, that Canadian city (forget the name) has some great strip clubs. 🤣

They used to be top end. The Ambassador Bridge. 9/11 and passport entry killed Windsor, Ontario. Leopards Lounge was the spot.
