Tbh, in a contest like this where only the very top % of scores win, making a pick that is the opposite of almost everyone else's is probably way more effective than getting a good number. It's not enough just to have a positive score, you have to crush everybody else in the contest for it to matter.

I hear ya but there really isn’t one method is better than the other. NFL survivor contest saw the first 6-7 weeks with the most fav teams outright losing. If not the most percentage of players losing in the first few week, it had to be close. So your strategy of either going the opposite or picking another game would work. But sometimes the most popular or heavily favs will win and there’s no “upsets.”

I think there’s enough uncertainty games that it will “course correct” this contest and not one particular way will win. But like any good contest, we won’t know until the end. Good luck!

I unfortunately fell victim to Cincinnati losing in week 1 in Survivor. I even thought it'd be best to find a different game because if they would lose it'd wipe out over half of the contestants...but picked them anyways.
