#77AFC Odds Entering Week 14
Miami's OT win over the Jets earlier may have been the death blow.
Bengals need to run the table just to finish 9-8, and the way things stack up now it's going to take 10 wins to make the AFC playoffs, minimum.
Colts play Denver next week, after that they close the regular season with the 3-10 Titans, the 2-11 Giants, and the 3-10 Jags. That SoS is softer than Granma Plopwell's frozen yogurt.
8-31 combined record (21% win pct), and you just know all three of those bottom feeders will be tanking down the stretch.
You're doomed Johnny.

Got CIN ML in that 8 teamer & Colts +10.5 so no issues with DEN winning by less than 11. That Ravens ML (beyond risky at that price) covers the parlay amount

#87They should be in the 10%-15% range if CIN gets to 9-8. Your only realistic hope is DEN losing out to finish 9-8 with CIN winning the playoff TB with a win against them. LAC just need to win 1 more game to overtake CIN so that's why it's imperative they beat DEN on TNF. Then CIN beats them next wk & you better pray KC has something to play for in wk 18.Originally posted by johnnyvegas13Bengals mathematician odds r 2% of making the playoffs

#93Bill himself used that trend despite the fact that there was already an outlier... another trend he used (that escapes me atm) also had been bucked. For some reason that only Old Bill knows, those don't count. I guess they have to confirm his bias in order to count.Originally posted by johnnyvegas13Bill ur post reminds of guys telling me bucs had no chance years ago cus no team had ever won on home field

#94Knew I should've taken a shot at 30-1 Yes Playoffs before the DAL game. The fact they're down to 7-1 should tell you their Playoffs implied probability is around 15% instead of the 3% they're talking about.Originally posted by johnnyvegas13Bill ur post reminds of guys telling me bucs had no chance years ago cus no team had ever won on home field

(Implied odds +1550)
Colts would be a better bet, and I don't endorse either side.
Colts have a seven percent to make the playoffs (Implied odds +1350)
The Colts have a softer three game schedule v. Giants, Titans, and Jags, and the Colts own the tiebreaker over the Bengals.
You can get longer odds on the Colts than the Bengals, but you're not getting value from the books either way.Comment -

#98Not really cuz you'd still need 5 favorable outcomes. CIN winning out & DEN losing out. Since CIN would have to beat DEN I'm not counting that as a favorable outcome since it's included in DEN winning out.Originally posted by johnnyvegas13At this point u would get better than 7-1 by parlaying the games needed every week nowComment -

#99Not true Nasher since IND already lost the tb to DEN with that loss. Assuming LAC & whoever doesn't win the NFC North are already in, it basically comes down to DEN, CIN & MIA for the final spot despite what this projection Implies.Originally posted by stevenashBengals have a six percent chance to make the playoffs.

#102Nash, my Colts have the worst QB I have watched make 14 starts in the National Football League during my existence on this planet. Give me JamJam over AR. AR is so absolutely horrendous it is unimaginable. He has no touch, everything is a fastball and the few times he has to make throw with air under it he misses by 10 yards look no further than last Sunday against Denver. AR has a wide open guy and clean pocket for a 15 yard completion and 1st down and he air mails it for an INT. He has zero ability to recognize coverage. I understand the logic drafting him but experiment over. If that BUM AR gets my guy Steichen fired I will not be happy.
Why TF are we not giving Bean a start? That kid can sling it.Comment -

I place a premium on loyalty, I respect fans that are loyal to their teams, no matter what.
The Colts were set up for life with Andrew Luck.
Then Luck went down for good eight years ago the team spiraled down and still haven't recovered.
Luck would have kept going right into the Hall.
Luck was special, that injury devasted that team.
Colts are 50-70 since.
Regarding AR I'm disappointed too.
I thought he'd be having a much better rookie year.
Bo Nix is the real deal though in Denver.Comment
