if the 2h total was sitting at 30.5 and it's 3-7 at half and i want 31.5 for a safety valve then i can go to alternate total and move it to 31.5 myself and pay whatever juice it is, or move it to under 27.5 and get nice plus odds

I don't know if it was confusing but the score was 3-7 at half. 31.5 at half was the total for the full game, the 2h total was 21.5

21.5 + 10 = 31.5

When you keep going on about "2h" total in the 30.5 range, that's where the confusion comes in. Not expecting you to refer to it as the "adjusted" total but no need to mention "2h" at that point. Not trying to make a mountain of a molehill TTM, but just thought I'd add some clarity.
